My old, hard plastic primary shaped stencils finally broke and needed to be replaced. These are a good size and are flexible and appear durable. This kit includes the expected shapes as well as heart and star shaped stencils, kids love them. (Used in school with K-5).

I have looked for stencils like these for literally 14 years since my first grandchild was 2! They are super sturdy (they are just shy of the thickness of two US quarters stacked! Perfect for little hands to create tons of shapes! The set has 10 different stencils. I am so happy with these! Over the years I have ordered 4 or 5 different stencil sets and none compare to these. They are large enough for kids to easily trace inside all the different sized shapes. I can't say enough as a grandmother who has looked at every art store, office supply, toy store and so forth, these get a 5 out of 5 rating!!!

I actually did not purchase these for a child. I bought them so I could use them to trace out better, more precise shapes on wood blanks I plan to cut with a bandsaw. I had searched online at other stores and even in store at Michael's and did not find anything as good as these. When I got these in the mail I was honestly surprised at the quality. I was hoping since they were more expensive than regular painting stencils, which was all most places had, they would live up to what I expected. They exceeded that. The variety of sizes and shapes is going to be great to work with when tracing and craving them from wood blanks. Thank you so much!
