Works as it should plug and play easy to install

I have a 2005 Chevy Astro cargo van, this installed in it perfectly. It did take about an hour and I had to pull the windshield washer reservoir to get to the ground point by the passenger side headlight. But there are ground points on both the driver side and passenger side, no new ground points have to be drilled. I was also able to connect the hot wire directly to the upfitters circuit on the fuse box, the two red wires going to the front that are bolted to studs. I did use a self-tapping screw to attach one of the relays to the front of the vehicle under the hood. This is a very effective way to convert an Astro van with switched grounds into a modern LED headlight vehicle.I paired this with a set of "UNI-SHINE 5x7 led headlight 2pcs 7x6 led headlight H6054 H5054" and it worked out of the box. I did not have to repin or use an adapter to connect them, they just went straight into the plugs provided after wiring the harness. Headlights work as expected, daytime running lights come on as before, daylight sensor works as expected, and obviously high beam low beams work great.

I knew going in that the wires were probably too short. The Datsun Z has a unique headlight setup the puts the lights in the fender and outside the engine bay/core support. But the kit was 90% there so I extended the headlight wires by 18" and it worked great

Had to use this on my 2003 gmc safari for LED headlights, they would not change from high to low beam. After this was installed, all works like it should. If you do the rest of the turn and parking lights, you will also need to change the blinker relay for an LED rated one to stop the fast flash of the blinkers. This harness is easy to install.

So far so good. The wires were a bit short, but I made it work. I put some new Alpharex headlights in and they kept blowing my little 10amp headlight fuse causing me to loose my rear tail lights and my DRL's . Hopefully this will take care of that problem. The wires are pretty thick for the price-14awg. The only other brand I could find that could compare to that was Hella, although Hella does come with 2 fuses rather than just one, like this brand, and it's about the same price. There are other brands out there that use 12awg ,but their running 179 bucks. This is working just fine. I may change it out to the 2 fuse hella, but for now it's working. Oh, and the instructions are actually very good, so if your having a hard time finding a YouTube video on installing these don't worry.

Older Toyota (some other brands also) used a common hot wire and then grounded the high or low beam terminals. Polarity doesn't matter on incandescent bulbs, but LED requires proper polarity.These harnesses plug directly into a factory headlight plug and convert the output so it works like normal lights with a common ground and power on the high and low terminals.
