This is definitely a FAUX leather jacket... it is NOT REAL LEATHER. Seller gave me full refund but should not be advertising "Real Lambskin". The paint came off the vinyl when I tried to oil it.

I bought the XXL because I was not sure if it will run small since I'm a normal XL size person ... well, it did run bigger than expected ... so if you will order, order the normal size you always wear, ... simple! it is NOT leather ... it is not ... it is some sort of vinyl look like leather wanna be ... but looks good and the stitching is also nicely done ... this is more of a fashion wear jacket and not a real motorcycle jacket ... a real motorcycle jacket would have armor on or capable of taking armor on and also a real motorcycle jacket would be able to have the inner lining to be taken out and put back in depending on the season and outside temperature ... also the XXL I received did not have any tags what so ever in the jacket at all ... not mentioning the brand, where it is made or the size ... nothing ... there are no tags ...I'm just being honest ... if I did not have a motorcycle and only would want it for looks and fashion I would have probably kept it ... but I returned mine and got my money back ...The reason why I'm giving 3 stars rather than 1 star is because it actually looks very nice and the customer service behind it is good and they refunded me back with no questions asked ...when something is too good to be true ...9 out of 10 it is ...

This product is real leather so, for those who are skeptical after reading some of the reviews, they don’t have to be. I am very familiar with recognizing leather and faux leather and I looked at the back of the seams at multiple places and clearly see the typical back surface of the leather. I believe the different reviews originate from the fact that there are different colors, some had treatments to give the vintage look. Mine does have this treatment and despite being lamb, it is not as soft as my other lamb leather jackets. Solid colors of the same product may not have the Initial chemical smell and the thickness that vintage looks might have. I am hopeful that with wear, it will soften up and the smell will totally go away. The design must have required a lot of thought, as it has a lot of detailed stitching to give the functionality on the road or day to day life. I think this leather coat for this price is an amazing buy. Real leather adjust to the body shape and gets better with use so, quick decision makers after a single try, who had returned this Jacket will not be able to enjoy it. In regards to cowhide versus lamb skin issue, the latter is preferred for its lightness and stretchability while the former is stronger. So, if the convenience of using it daily and in hot and cold weather is important to you, then lamb will be the choice. If you are a biker who wants to get better protection and durability after a fall, cowhide will serve your better. The same company does have cowhide jackets with slightly different design.Overall a good product, may not be the best you can find anywhere, but certainly comes with the best price among all others on the market. I suggest to get one size larger. I am 6’3” 210 with athletic body type and XXL is very good at the shoulders with a slightly larger waist then I would have preferred. This is much better for mobility then tight shoulders but a perfect waist size.

Until my XXL jacket arrives the jury is still out. I was emailed by the company CEO Lisa, asking me to measure my chest because they were having size issues. At 45" I'm an XL but looking at their size chart if I have a 45" chest I should also have a 45" waist! Anyway, my XL jacket was nice quality but way too small at the chest. Nice design but it's got a strange chemical smell to it. I'm waiting on my XXL hoping it fits as an American XL should. The CEO responded once she heard of my sizing issue but didn't offer a refund, just $30 off to keep it and either regift it or resell it. How strange! Option 2 was to order a larger size and exchange It. This just struck me odd to not be given a third choice, a full refund. These jackets come through Dubai from a Pakistan factory so I'm unsure if my jacket will still make it by Christmas. Of course I will be doing an update here when/if my new jacket arrives either by Christmas or just shows up.

I am still trying to decide if it’s real animal hide, or some facsimiles. When I received and unpacked it, the odor, for lack of a better word, was overpowering, but by the next day it became a mild indescrpt smell. My wife says it smells like goat, but I’m not sure. I guess time will tell. Probably a solid color may look better, but the distressed one I received was indeed “distressed”. The seller was communicative, when I complained, and instead of returning it, I was convinced by their generous return credit, to remain the owner.

When i first got my jacket I treated it with leather care which helped it a bunch and i would highly recommend doing. The jacket looks great, its lightweight and fits perfect. The only downside is the leather, it's not bad but it's lambskin which isn't as durable as cowhide. The cowhide would be heavier and probably more expensive but I think it would help it last longer. Overall, a good looking comfortable jacket for a decent price.

I take a large in American Jackets although I wear a medium shirt. Leather jackers must be ordered larger as they need to be roomy to wear comfortably. I ordered large and it was small so I gave it to wife as so nice. I then ordered xxlarge and it was slightly large but looked luxurious. Some misinformed review said it was not leather. As a leather wearer for over 50 years let me tell you it is very nice quality leather. In a US store would sell for 4-600 dollars. I intend to order several more! Maybe try an x-large next time for motorcycling. If you are fussy shop for a $600-1200 jacket in a store like Neimans or Calvin or Ralph Loren and don't order. Mail orders are never perfect.
