Nice solid knife a useful tool around the house
I was looking for a tool around the house like the bolo or sundang back in my home country. Not exactly the right shape but it’s close enough. I like the simple handle that shows clearly the full tang. It’s not fancy just for display but a real useful tool. It was sharp enough I used it to shave the corners of pine wood I made into a bench. My wife said it made cutting the grass at the edge of our Papa’s tombstone easy. It feels solid I think it will last a long time. Glad I picked this one.

Decent Knife
This will do for me, but the full tang handle needed to have some edges grinded a bit as they were too sharp . The handle is undersized and may be slippery. This is decent steel, but the construction prevents it from being a 5 star.

Like a 'barn find' (a piece of scrap that could be made into a knife).
Scales were too short, which was remedied by adding a choil, giving a decent grip for the handle. After that, due to the ripples in the black coating on the blade, I took a torch and blistered all of it off to see what was underneath. The material was advertised as D2, so no harm-no foul. The surface under the coating looked like boiler plate off of a ship that had been cut up on the beach, and then run over on the road for a week. I stoned it with a 120, then 200 grit diamond flattening block, then finished with an 800 grit stick. From there I put the 'knife' through eight freezing and thawing cycles (to enhance the grain structure) put a decent edge on it and took it outside to whack on limbs to see if it would break. It passed the test, I have around a solid 30 hours of my time invested in the knife, and with all of the imperfections that are still on the blade I can only pass it off as a 'barn find' that I have repurposed.

Garbage
It is not what was described .it is not damascus steel. The construction is very bland. And it does not hold an edge at all. I would not spend 85 dollars on anything that they are selling.

Not worth it
Doesn’t hold an edge. Handle is bulky and uncomfortable.
