Nice book! Older blood lines, but definitely shows breed standards, how to strip, clip, etc for grooming. Pretty basic descriptions but gives you an idea of how much grooming this dog requires. I have one and never thought they could knot up so quickly--matter of days. They are a high maintenance dog. Once groomed, they are so neat looking! Makes all the hard work so worthwhile.

This book, as is often the case with this kind of book, emphasises on winning dogs in Britain and a few other countries. But the part of the book that is really really excellent is the grooming and training-part. If you read and study this groomingmanual well than you'll be able to strip and groom your schnauzer all by yourself! Have fun doing it!

Great for the new MS owner and those interested in grooming their own dogs. Newman's section on grooming is VERY helpful!

Very pleased with condition of book. Item described as used in very good condition, this was certainly the case. This is a very informative book, that is a must if you own or are thinking of buying a miniature schnauzer. The author is the most experienced and longest mini schnauzer breeder in the UK. Goes without saying that this is superb book. Quite difficult to get hold of this particular book as it is out of print. Some sellers are taking advantage of this by selling for inflated prices on the internet. I bought my copy for a bargain price.

A wonderful book for both newcomers and established fanciers of the breed, it has super photos, both colour & black & white and is one of the few books that compares the UK, USA, & FCI Breed Standards.

Would not call it very good condition, but for price can not complaint.
