Beautiful design, great price and improved my radio reception. Easy to install with no tools necessary. Blends great with my 2017 Nissan Pathfinder.

I put a tarp over my 2013 Buick Enclave during a snow storm. When I went to slide the tarp off the car (with heavy snow on it), it ripped off the antenna (whoops, my bad). I live in a big city and had, at best, clear radio reception about 70% of the time. I don't listen often and I tend to listen to local, low reception stations.I got this shark fin antenna to replace my broken antenna (which broke off in the car roof attachment, so I could not just replace it with a new antenna. We drilled out the broken piece, but couldn't get a normal antenna to hold in place. That's where the covered shark fin came in. Since it was covered and protected it's connection to the car, all we had to do was get the attached line to stay in place, which we were able to do (electrical tape and twisty ties, if nothing else work, right?..).I've had the shark fin for a couple of weeks now and it works really good. I won't say great, since I still get a little static under bridges and such, but Really Good. I am very pleased and am glad I found it. Totally worth the money.

after install, it did not even receive my local stations without some static... could receive a station 50 miles away. My partly broken stock antenna at least did that. So, I returned this 1. 1st time returning anything from amizon..... Don't waste your money on this.

Bought a used car and realized someone had scotch-taped the antenna to the roof of the car. So cut off the factory receiver and installed this one. I can't attest to the reception it might boost or hinder as my wiring harness was damaged and I didn't replace it due to cost. But, this is now on my roof to ensure it doesn't allow moisture to get into my roof and damage my headliner. It is a bit taller than I would prefer, wish I'd read the measurements a little better. So far I haven't had any issues, but, I'm wondering about the longevity with going through a car wash at least once a week. I can't knock off any stars for the product being a wrong description, but, that is why I gave it 3 stars for style. The color matches my magnetic black Nissan well enough. Overall it's not bad. I would probably buy it again if I was in the same situation. I will see about the longevity as time passes.

Had to double up on the tape. Was too thin for my install. My radio reception got worse with the install.
