This was a gift for small children, so I am reviewing based off of memory. It was maybe 8.5 x 6” but about 1” thick. I say this because it is great for telling stories at bed time, but probably not something a small child would hold. It contains all the classics. I specifically got it for German kids so that they could hear the English version of stories they already know. So while I don’t recall exactly what stories were in it, I know that they were common fairytales for children.

Great collection of fairy tales for wide age range. Good illustrations. Book cover should hold up well for children to read as well .

This book had the stories in it that I thought my 3 - 4 year old granddaughter wanted to hear. She loves them. They are not too long. The reader must edit them when reading as they can be scary and rough. ( they were written a long time ago) She wants to hear them every night.

The artwork in this book is stunning...VERY colorful and child-pleasing. The stories are good, too...very kid friendly. Nicely bound, good size book. Sound purchase.

A well put together book. Just the right size. I bought this for a new grandbaby and her mother. Brings back memories for me too. I'll have to order more. Hard cover with quality binding.
