ChromaLabel 1/2 Inch Colored Masking Tape, Variety Pack Color Code Labeling Tape for Crafting and Organizing - 500 Inch Rolls (13.88 Yards), 5 Assorted Colors

My baseline here is an almost identical product manufactured and sold by by Fisher Scientific under their Fisherbrand. Why am I here reviewing tape when I have better things to do with my time? I don't know. Part of me wants to help out that research assistant on the hunt for a cheaper product that measures. In short, look elsewhere.Fisher's tape is specifically meant for a lab setting, i.e., it's a strong adhesive, water proof, resistant to against acids or oils. Fisher's tape also makes for exceptional use outside a lab. Need your colored tape to stick to glassware? Fisher. Need your tape to weather subzero? Fisher. Need your tape to be colorful? Both, but I should note that Fisher's comes in not only violet but also lavender. If this is the standard you are aiming for, then you will not find it with ChromaLabel.Now, I know you're going to say, "But ChargersFan92, ChromaLabel's tape is sooooo much cheaper." Well, let me answer that with a question: is it? Listen, you as a lay consumer can buy a roll of your favorite color from Fisher for $9.41 and it will be 504 inches. ChromaLabel gets you 500 inches for $18.75. FISHER'S IS NOT JUST A SUPERIOR TAPE, IT'S HALF THE PRICE!!In my front of me, as I type, I have colored tape from ChromaLabel that might be useful for... I don't know. Anyone have suggestions? The only thing I have in mind is using it as a paperweight when I'm outside when there's a light breeze because ChromaLabel's adhesive isn't going hold my paper down.

Unfortunately the tape doesn't seem to stick to glass; it immediately peels away. I was going to use this to label laboratory glassware, but since that doesn't seem possible now I'll have to find some other use for the tape. I know some people in another laboratory who use this brand of tape for labeling glassware, but they buy it directly from the company website. I don't know if this is a defective tape roll set (since both the red and yellow rolls have the same problem, though I haven't tried the other colors yet) or is somehow different from what they bought.It's easy to tear and easily comes off paper without ruining the paper surface, and the colors are just as they appear in the picture. Sharpie writes well on the surface.I'm disappointed that it doesn't stick to glass, but otherwise the tape seems fine. Next time I will just buy tape made explicitly for glass/crystal surfaces.

These color-coded labels are a little expensive but are great to use. The adhesive used is strong enough to allow the label to stick onto different types of materials, but not so strong that it is difficult to remove. It comes off whole without leaving any adhesive or label attached. I love the colors but I would recommend the ability to chose the quantity and colors. For example, I would like to be able to buy more of the yellow and green than the other colors. Otherwise, great product!

I have five computers, each with its own peripherals and cables. I frequently have to pack them up when I am on the go. Getting through the tangle of cords, cables and hubs to figure out what goes with each computer is time consuming. Now, I have each computer, and the stuff that goes with it, color coded and labeled...thanks to this tape. It sticks very well...yet it is easily removed and reapplied. It takes Sharpie labeling without smearing (I do blow on it a bit after writing...but I don't know if I needed to). The price is well worth it for the time and trouble it saves for me.

Exactly what I needed to supervise and expedite relocation of furnitue and items. Thanks.If it helps anyone else.... used color coordination : Green =Garage, Blue=Basement, Yellow=Upstairs... Bedroom (wrote M =Master, And initials(could use #s for other bedrooms) for all other bedrooms/rooms... O =Office... etc. I simple put a small piece of tape on each item and everyone knew where to go so made my experience sooooo much easier and even more less fatiguing!!! ☺️

I am using these to color code the tops of books by reading level in the library. It sticks well, removes easily and there is plenty of it! Having the five different colors in one package is perfect -- and can have the difficulty of the books increase in "rainbow" order. Having one more roll in purple would be the only thing I might suggest, but it is pretty amazing as is.

got these for microphone color coding because the color electrical tape kept leaving sticky goo around the ends. This works better as far as being cleaner and easier to remove. It is like masking tape but with a smoother finish. Only problem is the paper loses its color and fades quickly when handled by sweaty hands. I have to replace it about once a month, but no sticky residue.

This is exactly what I’ve been looking for! I manage 4 different locations and need to keep track of where & when I am traveling so color coding the branches makes it a quick view of my schedule.And always wall calendars the boxes are never big enough to write in so 3/4” wide tape fits perfectly into the standard wall calendar.Easy to peel and repost.

My friend taped up their Secret Stories using masking tape and kept retaping. Mine have been up since Fall and are still there. I E been using this tape for several years and it really works on concrete, glass, metal and wood. Removes easily with no residue! I wouldn’t be without it!
