It's really good on a sandwich and makes a great treacle tart.

This will last for the rest of my life I think. It is enormous but scrumptious. No-one makes it as good as Lyles even if it has a dead lion on the outside 😀

Just the slight issue that instead of 3x 907g tins of Golden syrup I ended up receiving 7 x 454g tins - same amount just spread across smaller tins - not expected but not a big deal as its the same stuff inside !

This is a great size as it is going to last for quite some time making it economical. It arrived very well packed without any damage. It also arrived well within the expected date. Great service.

Still the best sirup I have ever tasted. I even prefer it over maple siryp on my pancakes. There was a problem with the delivery though. All the cans arrived in a box with almost no other filling so they were all beaten up and leaking a little.

This stuff is wonderful!!! As an American just finding her British Isle/Irish roots, and thanks to the GBBO, I cannot wait to use this in my pecan pie for Thanksgiving (just a bit of Irony there)! Lol Seriously, it's wonderful. Such a thick syrup that is so caramelly. You cant go wrong. Think I'm going to have to buy the gallon size next! Enjoy

Golden syrup was always a staple in my life growing up in UK. I loved it on fresh bread and toast. My Mum then started adding it to things I didn’t want to eat like porridge and even ground up aspirin in it! I still love it on toast and porridge but also bake with it
