Runs small. So if your high measurement is 2" go for the medium. I measured 2" and directions stated I needed a small. When I got it, very hard to get on and uncomfortable. BUT even with that I can totally see how it works and that it will help me. Just need to get the right size for me. Once I do I will come back and review some more.1/25/19; very happy and impressed with this product. I am able to function throughout the day without an issue and it's keeping my thumb where should be. And once you get used to it it's very comfortable actually. I am healing better than with other braces because I don't get aggravated and irritated with it and take it off. I'm actually keeping it on so my thumb is having a chance to heal. it's not bulky and sweaty. My reason for use is thumb sprain. Torn ligaments on both sides of my thumb. I had gotten a small size first, but my friend who has thumb arthritis issues, I gave to her to use and she's been raving about it . She wears it at night. States she has less pain in her hand and her thumb.So for the price and the job it does and whan I am experiencing .I highly recommend this product.

This had no instructions on how to put it on, and believe me, you needed some! Very complex system of straps and velcro, I could hardly make heads or tails of it. I had to go by the picture, and when I (sort of) got it on (some straps left over?) it was not comfortable. It didn't give me the support, and I couldn't move my fingers freely, unlike the expensive one I tried on in the doctor's office. They look similar, but I guess you get what you pay for!

I did not like this brace. It was hard and uncomfortable unlike the other brand that I had. It punched while I tried to hold objects in my hand. My other brace was a soft brace that formed to my palm, this brace was hard and kept my thumb pulled at a awkward position that caused it to hurt more. I returned it and was refunded my money.

The brace provides good pain relief. The straps will likely need to be replaced soon. I need to take it off several times a day to wash up and the straps are already showing a lot of wear. But they should be able to be replaced easily since the plastic part is quite stable.

I cannot find the details of what the brace is made out of but I do have a latex sensitivity and after wearing the brace for 3 hours my hand was swollen and red and burning and I can no longer wear. They grey material is hard with sharp edges and very uncomfortable. I wanted something that was not bulky to wear at night and this definitely does it but not with the side effects.

I like the style but the plastic is unforgiving. I put it on as soon as I received and within 5 minutes I had a blister starting. I could not pick up anything because my fingers couldn't move because the hard plastic part of brace restricted any movement. I rechecked the size of my hand to verfy brace size and that was correct, so that wasn't the issue to cause blisters. I returned this brace and cancelled my order for brace for other hand. There needs to be a material adjustment or reshape plastic in a few areas, curve area under index finger and thumb area. My thumb was area that blister started. I would try again if products and design were changed, but for now I am sticking to the brace I have used for years.The description did not match the item I received, and this the one time I didn't read product reviews before purchasing a mistake I won't do again. Every negative review referenced all the same issues I experienced.I really liked the design, but it has a lot of work that needs to be addressed. Most of the time when an original gets copied it works as well as the original but not this time with this company.
