Shoe stretcher, fitting device for women and men shoes, various sizes with stretch buttons

I suffer fairly major deformity with my right foot as well as both feet being very wide.My major problem was that I suffer compression on my little toe on the right foot with almost all shoes (mine are also modified orthotically for height correction), the problem is exacerbated by the extreme width of the foot as well.This shoe stretcher combined with some stretching solution (I use Collonil STRETCH Powerful Stretch Spray) sorted out my problem perfectly.The moveable plastic 'plugs' allow you to position the expanding action exactly where you need it however I did find after a few uses the plugs tended to moved as you insert the stretcher into the shoe. I have over come that by simply sticking a strip of sellotape over them to hold them in position.Don't go overboard with screwing the adjustment control as I tried the unit on one pair of old shoes, took it a bit too far and ripped the side of the shoe from the sole.Overall I am impressed at how well they work and would recommend them.

A really good quality product that works well. I bought two so I could get on and stretch both my walking boots. I was worried the device wouldn't fit this type of boot but even though they have a moderately high ankle cuff, the device gently pressed the cuff down allowing a good position inside the boot. You can buy cheaper but they get terrible reviews for quality. With this, the wood is smooth and varnished, it has a strong metal mechanism and three different sized plastic pieces and numerous peg holes to give lots of choice for areas needing extra stretch. This will be useful for many items of footwear in the future so well worth the money. I wish I had bought it years ago.

I bought the smallest size one to use on 2 pairs of size 2.5 sandals.It works extremely well and is simple to use. It's solidly made, good quality and robust, with a smooth operating action. These are sold as singles so I actually bought two, to speed up the stretching process, which obviously made them a bit pricey, but well worth it. I suspect that cheaper varieties may be less robust.

Really pleased - top quality sturdy product, worth the extra money. Read other reviews first and wanted to get a pair (cheaper) but liked the idea of the 'knobs' that can target problem areas. I am size 4.5 to 5 and this size is perfect. I have wide feet anyway, but get great pain in my little toe joint which has started to kick out much like a bunion. I love walking & have a new pair of leather MBT trainers. The three knobs (which are different shapes/sizes depending on your need, and which can be positioned to target the exact spot you need additional play) are a brilliant feature.... (whoever invented this idea knows about joint problems!), as general overall stretching is not what I need (though can still be achieved). A great investment. And simply take it in turns with each shoe if you need to stretch them both. Also purchased the Colonil spray as recommended by another customer.

I can't recommend this enough. I have one very wide foot due to bunion and arthritis in my toe and it is extremely difficult to get footwear that is comfortable and fits well. One foot needs a 6 or 6.5 and the other a 7. I have thrown out so many pairs of shoes and boots but now I have this I'm able to keep my footwear and just stretch one of the pair to fit my wide foot. It's great. It works in leather, canvas, suede and I've used it in ankle boots and shoes. I was rather sceptical at first but I'm so glad I got this. Money well spent!

This is a sturdy product, quite unlike cheaper alternatives that many Amazon customers complain about. It works well and it's worth the extra money.It comes with an assortment of buttons for point stretching, not just one as shown.

I used to send my shoes to the cobbler to get stretched but I bought this to see if I could get the same results at home. First, the shoes should be steamed to loosen the material so I boiled the kettle and put the shoe over the spout and let the steam do its job. I have to say that I am very happy with the results.

Used in male & female leather shoes & really does work. Saved many a sale purchase of slightly too small shoes & boon as am between sizes. Leave for 24h & shoes half size bigger. NB only works on leather (inside & out) & canvas - if you buy cheaper shoes that are manmade plastic lined, obv won’t work!
