Certified – To say that this potato is excellent, is an insult! After just one bite of this mouth watering creamy yellow flesh potato you’ll know why it won first place in Rodale’ Gardening “Taste Off”. Introduced by David Ronniger in 1988 from a handful of potatoes which he then increased. When To Plant - You can plant these once the danger of heavy frost is over. You don’t want the ground to freeze up again after planting. But potatoes can handle a light frost. Plus you want to plant them as early as you can because as the season goes on the chance of disease increases.

Awesome Seed Potatoes!
These were extremelly well cared for seed potatoes! They came with a little peat moss in a baggy. They took off right away and rooted up with literally no effort. Once rooted they are now in my potato garden and are doing amazingly well. I am expected a 10 fold yield on my investment and then some. Thanks so much! Once I have a chance to taste them I'll report that as well in my review :) Happy Gardens!

Maybe it was me and not the potatoes
I'm a Master Gardener and have been gardening my entire life. I just don't have any luck with potatoes in bins or containers! I've tried many varieties but in the end I get ...... nothing. I planted 3 separate bins this year (that's a LOT of dirt!) and they grew really well - beautiful green lush foliage, etc. But when I dumped the bins - nothing. I'll keep trying, and one of these days I'll get it! I'm giving four stars because even though they didn't grow they arrived fresh and healthy, and it's not the seller's fault that potatoes are my downfall!

Didn’t Have Sprouts, Weren’t Cut, Didn’t Grow
Terrible product. These “seeds” had to be cut and cured before planting. While they had sprouts on them when they arrived, they have yet to push out of the soil a month later. I planted them in loamy well-draining garden soil that is well watered.Useless and a waste of $15. NONE of this variety had sprouts when they arrived! And no instructions were provided. I had to find out how to cut and cure online. One good thing (if they actually would grow) is that they provided different sizes.

Shipped in a sealed plastic bag
Shipping took 18 days and they were in a sealed plastic bag. By the time they got to me the bag was full of condensation, all the sprouts were broke off and mold started on them. Washed them and got them in the ground. We will see if any of them actually take.UPDATE: They sprouted and are doing good. With the late start I'll be surprised if they very big.

So far so good.
Planted as directed . So far 3/4 have sprouted and grown plants. I live in central Florida and it has been unusually hot for even here- so it can be hard to get things to grow

Works wonderfully!!
Not all of the seed potatoes are growing but the ones that are are tremendously! The bags are so portable!! Especially when it looks like it’s going to hail !! ☺️

It's not what I expected.
I have had these potatoes now for a few weeks. No sprouts yet. I don't want to plant them here in Florida until I see some signs of life. Maybe I don't know what I'm doing. I leave them outside in the sun all day long and bring them in at night.
