Lightweight, comfortable, great quality
I’ve tried dozens of boots. Worn 4/days a week for over 3 months. These are comfortable lightweight, not clunky and over sized Good flex. Feet don’t overheat - I live in a warm climate Great traction Waterproof Only negative, is ugly green color …but this isn’t a fashion show.

Solid pair of boots - great for a job at a construction site
These boots are well-made, as you expect with Timberland products. My son wears them for his job and says that they are very comfortable - they didn’t create any hot-spots or pressure points that caused pain or blisters, so essentially, he didn’t really need to “break them in.” The steel toe has already saved his toes a few times from heavy/solid objects and the reinforced layer at the ends of the toes keeps the boot looking good and not scuffed up. They are durable, provide solid support - especially to his ankles, grip surfaces well without slipping, and run true to size. He doesn’t have wide feet or any issues generally when buying a pair of shoes as far as fit goes, and these were no different. If these ever wear out I would get him another pair right away.

Best boot
Timberland pro are my number 1 go to boot. They are very comfortable to wear all day and are super durable. They fit perfect, are slip resistant and never have given me blisters. I work on cement all day and they keep your feet good. I have worn plenty of different styles but these are my favorite ones. They are safety toe and still are really light.

Comfortable steel toe
I always go back to this style and brand because they offer a comfortable durable boot at a halfway decent price. I think for what I paid there's probably not much out there that would offer better. I love the protection this boot gives me. The grip is very good and durable and the weight is just light enough to not bother my loose knees so I don't have to sacrifice durability for a light boot, this boot is just the right balance for me. My only concern with this pair is some of the stitching for the re-enforced toe is already starting to give out. If I'd given a little more thought I would have stayed with the same brand however opted for the fully re-enforced covering the whole front of the boot. This would place the stitching farther back letting wear occur. I will hopefully get a year out of them and not look like a hobo by that time but I'm not optimistic. This a style for a job site foreman who might help you hold or carry something not for someone doing the real work. Great boot I just question the durability of this style.

Excellent so far.. (updated 2023)
I was very impressed with the fitment right out of the box. They're about as comfortable as a good trail boot and nearly as light. In fact, they feel more like a trail or insulated winter boot which I'm sure it could substitute as in a pinch along with some wooly socks. I can forget I’m even wearing steel toe work boots with these on. They're very comfortable to wear all day even after working. The grey midsole, particularly below the ball of the foot is thick and spongy for absorption and the bottom heel and toe cap both have some nice thick rubber "bumpers" covering them stitched to the insole. Brass eyelets are an important but overlooked part of a boot and these appear to be good quality. Timberland has had a reputation with boot eyelets coming loose and falling out over time though so we'll see. Overall 5 stars. Edit: March 2023 and they are finally wearing out on the bottoms. I've put them thru everything but the front tread has finally disappeared after 4 years of use. So no longer safe to use as work boots, but will continue to use for house and garden work for years to come. The leather has never been conditioned so is thin and grainy in some spots but the the string eyelets, soles, walls and bumpers still intact.

Not up to standard
Wonderful style, initial satisfaction. Then they fall apart within a few months. Not meant for everyday use, not sure why they make them steel toe if they fall apart like Nike running shoes. Not going to buy again. They just don’t last.

Quality seems good and the fit is comfortable. I will see how these boots hold up this summer when I work in construction where they will be put to hard use. I chose these boots because of the metal lace guides. My last pair of hiker work boots had the fabric lace guides and they will rip and make the boot useless after some heavy use even though the boot itself still has lots of life left in it. I bought the medium width size ll and it's a snug fit but after some use, they seem to fit a bit better for my feet after breaking them in. I usually can wear a size 10.5 to 11, depending on the manufacture of the boot. These boots are size 11 but are more like 10.5 size compared to other boot manufacturers. If you get the wide width ones, they should have more room but these ones I bought are just fine for me. I like the look of the boots and the styling, the design of the lace guides is perfect (the metal guides and metal hooks at the top are what you want in a work hiker boot). The soles have a nice grippy tread design and they are quiet when I walk on the concrete floors at work.

Delivery was several days ahead of the original estimated schedule. Well done on that. The content in the packing box is pristine without evidence of being used before. No signs of defects sighted and at least not yet in its new condition before usage. Size was right as ordered and fitting can be considered as almost perfect for the configuration of my foot. The first noticeable feature is the insole comfort when you stepped into it and then follow by the ease of walking because it is unexpectedly lightweight as opposed to other working boots with the steel cap. It weighs about 580 g. The designs of the tongue and adjacent lips are well thought off and they facilitate easy slipping in and out without fuss. The top two (2) pairs of lugs allow quick securing, which is a sensible plus point for a working boot. The materials used would appear to be genuinely sturdy and has a feel of quality, if we could say that in layman term. It feels warm after a while of wearing and this is the evidence of waterproofing features designed in it. Haven't test its waterproofing yet. Time would reveal its usability and reliability.
