This is definitely a value for money colour changing remote control lightbulb which is one of if not THE best lightbulb I have ever purchased!! Basically it puts an ordinary white light plus numerous multicoloured ones into a single bulb and adds a remote control to operate it.There are 12 different colour lights, 6 levels of brightness and 4modes being flash/strobe/ fade-flashlight/smooth. The remote control features 25 keys and is infra red with a 5 metre operating range. There is a memory function whereby your last setting is remembered when you next turn the bulb on which is a great feature. The bulb has lifespan of 50,000 hours and is an ideal gift. It comes with 1 year replacement/refund warranty and the company aim to solve any problems in under 24hours.....that’s what I call service!!!! I would highly recommend this item and I will be purchasing more for other rooms in my house as every member of the family wants one for their bedrooms!!!

I bought this light for my bedroom as I’m a sick and disabled person whose condition causes frequent migraines. This light is great because it can be left on very dimly at night allowing me to get up to use the bathroom etc but it can also be used at a brighter level as needed. It also means that I can put my light on or off without getting out of bed and a dim blue light can help me visualise my headaches easing. The fact that it also has two different ‘party patterns with the colours either blending or flashing onto the next, in fact there are two speeds of flashing colours, one of merging and 4/5 light levels. Bought another 1 for my lounge too.

On the normal 'warm white' setting (which for me is not warm enough), this is fine; all the colours work, but are very weak, nowhere near the rated strength of the bulb. I bought this in hopes that one of the lighter coloured settings would be an equivalent of old 'soft-tone' bulbs which I cannot find any more; the colours do include one that would suit me well, but the strength is much reduced, making them no good for me to create normal lighting. I am using the bulb on the normal setting in a location where its lack of warmth does not matter, and it has worked fine there for a couple of months (though I cannot say yet how long it lasts). I gather that this low power on the colour settings seems to be normal for these sorts of bulbs, not just this particular make; they are suitable for 'mood' lighting only, not as alternatives to really warm soft-tone bulbs.

The media could not be loaded.  I have an old standard lamp with a bayonet fitting whose bulb suddenly gave up the ghost. This bulb is about the equivalent of a 60W bulb, but also can change to 15 preset colours or a really nice warm white via the included remote control.There is also the facility to make the bulb flash, strobe or fade through the colours should you so desire (see attached video.) The colours are vibrant and the changes are smooth. Our standard lamp is behind the sofa and the power socket is not easy to reach; the remote control will be extremely handy. For less than £7 this is really good value for money.

This was a solution I bought as I couldnt get a normal dimmer switch working in the kids bedroom, and being honest its worked out better for me price wise. The bulb is really good, lots of colours for the kids to mess about with and choose.My main gripe with this is that I wish the colours would dim more, when on the lowest they are still really bright for a night light. Also the remote isnt great, I wanted to stick this on the wall by the switch but you have to point it to the bulb to get it do anything.Not going to complain too much though as I guess it says what it does on the tin.

Just plugged it in & off it went, beautiful colours, can have it as a solid colour, fade through the cycle or a strobe but due to the lighstshade it reminds me of lightening so I'm very very happy! Can even have it on white and you're able to dim it twice so im even more happy as I now don't need to mess about looking for a nightlight. My 2 year old loves it as she names the colours as they come on so that's a lil bonus, overall for the price I can't fault it even though the buttons in the remote don't do what they say but was easy enough to figure out what button did what

Got this for a 9 year olds room, he absolutely loves it. Nice and bright. Only bad thing about it is that a couple of the buttons on the remote do different things to what they say they do. So had to get used to that. But mine was just a bit faulty probably and sure others would be okey
