Snyder's of Hanover, Gluten Free Pretzels, 8 Oz

These pretzels taste as good as 'regulars', maybe better. They don't have soy or other weird ingredients that will upset your gut. They're the best!

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Oh, my! These are delicious. I love pretzels as an occasional treat. Since I’ve had to cut gluten from my diet (a new recent change in my life), it’s been challenging to find foods and snacks that are appealing. It’s especially challenging because I live in a VERY small rural town where we have two small grocery stores and one Dollar General. The closest city with real supermarkets is 100 miles away. I’m planning a trip next month that will require a long flight. I have no hope that any of the “complimentary” snacks served by the airline will be gluten free, so I’m on a campaign to find something I can throw into my purse. These Snyders Gluten Free pretzel rods taste like, well, like Snyders Pretzel Rods! They are crunchy, slightly salty… well, just the same as regular Snyders. (I wonder if they have gluten-free pretzel bites stuffed with peanut butter. I loved those in my pre-gluten conscience days.) I’m adding these to my regular list of Amazon food items.

I bought this to make pretzels dipped in chocolate and I’m celiac. They are excellent tasting pretzels you can not tell the difference on them. The only thing which I don’t blame the manufacturer but more Amazon on is it had so many cracked rods we got maybe 15 if we were lucky when we opened it up so that dampened our plans to to do only rods. But some of the broken piece were still big enough to dip them and decorate them. I would give it a five stars if it didn’t have all those broken rods in the bag.

The pretzels are AMAZING, however, you might want to just buy these in a store if you can find them. I had to purchase them this way because they’re not available local to me. I was only able to get 18 full pretzel rods from this bag. Easily the other half of the bag is broken. If we have these just for snacking, it would be one thing, but I really needed them to be full size. My celiac nephew has always been envious of the pretzel rods that are common at Christmas time, but could never partake. I was so excited when I found this product to be able to do that for him. Just bummed I couldn’t make as many as I’d have liked to.
