This is a beautiful piece. It is not cheaply made. Nice and heavy and a good, quality piece. I am very impressed.

Liked the look, the printed words, the leather case and the overall gift-ableness. But there was no description included, no instructions, and no clear contact information so I could ask questions. It was not clear which side of the compass needle was the directional arrow, but I would have thought that the painted arrow tip would have been the pointer - but it wasn't, it pointed in the opposite direction. Also, it should not have been assumed that a certain lever was intended to release the pointer, though it wasn't hard to figure it out. Also not sure of the compass accuracy, as I tested it.
