It is good quality and has a very nice pleasing aesthetic. It has a nice arc to be gentle on your headphone headbands. Overtime, you'll see how the arc helps to avoid pinch points and creases in headbands. Never really understood why most headphone stands basically consist of a flat rectangle where the headphones rest. The corners will pinch the headbands.While it's very pretty, it actually isn't as sturdy as you think. Other reviewers are spot on about quality control. Mine also has the warping issue. The circular metal portions on the top of the bottom plate also jut out higher on one side, making the rod sit angled. The bottom plate also does not rest flat and is slightly curved/warped along the direction of the grain. There is also these black strips on the bottom to prevent the product from moving on the table. I removed these because they were too sticky and nasty for my tasty. After using Goo Gone to remove the adhesive residue, I used 3 different size felt pads on the bottom which managed to stabilize the plate and also straighten the rod. A lot of work for a headphone stand if you ask me but it's stable now.

I recommend this if you like music or games and want a convenient spot to put your large over the ear headphones when you aren't wearing them. Previously I had an under the desk hook for my M40x's, but when I got my custom built desk I opted to not use that and chose to get these and I could not be happier.

I am going to agree with other reviews that say the base is warped. But it still works and still looks good.

Just wanted to say that TYKA's customer service was great!The bottom screw that fits through the base into the main shaft had an issue where the head wasn't fully bored out, such that the allen key wouldn't work properly. I could still get it "finger tight," but it wasn't 100%.I contacted them and after giving my information they sent an entire new kit, not just a replacement screw! So now, in case I break it by accident, I can fully replace the entire setup.

This is a great little headphone stand. It looks good and is sturdy. Works well with headphones that have a solid band. I wouldn't use it for one with a suspension system. A great match for Sennheisers, Byers, SHP9600, Sony XM3/4.

This headphone stand is great. Its tall enough even for my beefiest headphones, the top and base are made of nicely finished wood and the stand is very stable. It comes with microsuction pads on the bottom which stick very nicely to a desk. This is a fantastic headphone stand and I think I will be buying two more to use for my headphones at home (I bought one for the office)

Amazing build and material quality for the price. I am surprised that I like this headphone stand this much but something about storing the headphones upright (wireless, over-the-ear style in my case) instead of horizontally on a table really cleans up my desk or nightstand. The wide, curved top also supports the top cushion on the headphones very well without deforming the foam. An excellent headphone stand.

I was surprised by how nice this actually was, it’s smaller than anticipated but it looks nice on a desk and still holds larger headphones such as Breyer dt880It assembled easy, the fit and finish is good, there is no wobble, and the wood is finished nicely with no blemishes or cracksIt’s a much better deal than the omega style stands which I have had poor luck with (cracking/chipping/poor finish)

These would have got a perfect review if it weren't the product branding on both top and bottom. More descreet branding would have made these 5/5. I still recommend them though...They look great.

It's a nice addition to for a Christmas gift of headphones I picked up.

I like the style and look of it. It looks great with my desk set up.

Although this unit is not expensive, mine has a fault. It does not sit level. The base rocks even when there are headphones in place. Although my stand has not fallen over yet it is something that is going to happen once I relax taking my headphones on and off.

The attachment of the base of the support pipe is very wobbly. This could be fixed by using a smaller screw or a washer, but the one provided makes it completely wobbly. Not just a little bit, but very wobbly.
