An engaging journey through time and space.
A book I saw Kahil Gibran going into it and Mutabaruka coming out of it.Having seen snippets of the play adds a world of colour to the read.

Good book
I have long been a Walcott fan and this is a nice collection of his shorter plays. Nicely put together, good intro.

because of this and because of his love for my country Trinidad and Tobago
Derek Walcott is a master writer, just buy it without hesitation. I bought it, because of this and because of his love for my country Trinidad and Tobago. He was instrumental in establishing the Trinidad and Tobago theatre work shop, and was once married to a beautiful Trinidadian lady .

Walcott is an interesting writer
This was required for a theatre class. To get the full gist of this play you need to research African roots, myths, and superstitions. I Enjoyed it.

A good collection of walcott plays. Making a deep satire on colonialism.
