Great book for young Muslim girls
Great book for young Muslim girls. I've read through it before giving to my daughter and it covers friendships, puberty and so on but it approaches the subjects in a friendly way. Like a big sister to a little sister. A well needed book if you want to introduce these subjects to your daughter but are unsure where to begin.

Great book for young girls coming to age
My 12 year old enjoyed reading it - it provided a talking point for any questions she had and we went through them together.

It's every little girl's best friend
I got the book after recommendation from few friends for my 9 year old girl. It's really good, she's reading it and understanding things, the changes etc. Great present for little girls with coping with life's big changes

Brilliant
Introduces important concepts in a soft way. Young girls find this book v interesting - I've given this book to quite a few people with the same results. It's sister book on boys is v good too. I'd recommend both highly.

I'd feel depressed about growing up if I read this.
I found this book to be generally unhelpful- a lot of the advice seemed to consist of warning the reader against doing the things that her peers around her at school are doing. As such, it created a defensive, reactionary tone that I found a bit depressing. I think it would have been better to try and approach the topic of oncoming maturity from a positive, celebratory angle. But perhaps that protectionary message is of value to others, we found it superfluous since our daughter is home educated and does not have the same level exposure to peer pressure as others. I also found the various warnings against doing Things That Non- Muslims Are Doing (e.g. listening to music) annoying- again, it coloured the tone of the book with negativity. It is in serious need of an update in some places- it doesn't mention today's social media at all, instead it discusses online platforms like Myspace that I was using when I was a teenager!

I thought it would be less boring. I would rather recommend this book for parents to read and discuss with kids. For children it's too dull.

Our Youth
I loved this book because it discusses everyday situations that our youth find themselves in. As parents it is our duty to guide our children to the right path, but it is their job to make a sincere effort to stay on that path.

Good book
I purchased this book for my youngest daughter. She was interested in this book and even read to us the first 6 chapters. She finished the book in 2 days. I am hoping that other books will become published for young muslimahs.

Nicely done
Very well-written, and a nice book for girls growing up Muslim, especially here in the U.S. Good conversation-starter for pre-teen girls.

Every young Muslimah should have
I have read this book and my daughter has as well. I think every young muslimah should own a copy of this book. Especially young converts.
