Have had this kettle since last September and can vouch for its reliability and ease of use. It's just the right size for my bijou kitchen and a lot easier to keep clean than my previous glass kettle. From experience those glass kettles with the blue light look like great high tech when they're new but if you live in a hard water area they lose those good looks very quickly. Once that scale gets into all the nooks and crannies it is a nightmare getting rid of the stuff. Hunted around for a good replacement and found this little kettle. Nice streamlined design with no hidden places for the dreaded limescale to collect and size wise just the job for a singleton. It can be a little noisy but it boils rapidly so not a deal breaker for me. As one or two have noted there is a little bit of condensation visible on the lid when boiling but let the kettle come off the boil for a few moments and it disappears. Dead easy to keep clean, just an occasional wipe over on the outside keeps it nice and shiny and looking like new. If you live in a hard water area I recommend keeping it descaled using citric acid every few weeks. Boil two cupfuls of water, add a teaspoon or two of citric acid. When the water stops fizzing, boil it again, repeat the boil a couple more times and then give the kettle a good rinse out with cold water. It brings the inside of the kettle up like new. Chuck the spout filter in whilst you're doing this and it will also come out sparkly clean. Quality little kettle, not cheap but well worth the price you pay for it.

Really good product. It boils water in less than a minute. Automatic shut down when the water is boiling, so you don’t have to worry about forgetting it on. The light indicator is bright and the size is perfect for travelling or a tea corner in your room. Easy to clean since the heating comes from the metal base inside and not from a metal wire like in common kettles and water doesn’t get a plasticky taste. Strongly recommended.

review after more than a month of usage, about two-three times per day. It does well what is supposed to do... boiling water. It's reasonably fast, less than 90 seconds to boil 360ml of water and less than 3 and a half minutes to boil a litre. Pouring water is fine, the lid is hinged so it doesn't fall It's compact and sits on its base and once you have put water in it, it is not wobbly. I am giving four stars because: the hinge of the (plastic) lid could have been more robust it's a bit noisy the rim of the spout traps a very tiny bit of water inside the kettle there is some condensation on the lid after boiling, if you leave the lid open it dries up all in all, so far so good

this is a supper kettle, it boils very quickly. it is not to heavey as i am not very strong.

I am absolutely in love with this kettle. I needed a small and functional kettle for a work room. I had a few runner-ups but this one caught my eyes. My only hesitation before buying it is that it does not have a measuring window. This turned out not to be a serious obstacle as I tend to fill-in the amount I need. It looks good, it boils relatively fast, and so far it seems to be keeping clean and limescale-free. It was on a Black Friday deal, so definitely value for money.

A nice kettle but no visible water gauge. Therefore returned it.

This is fine for when I'm camping on my own, but the included two cups are really tiny. Make sure you have a "proper" mug available. Otherwise, it does exactly what you would expect, it is an electrical heater for up to 0.5 litres of water. It has lived in the back of the car in a bag for over a year and been used on a few campsites from the car's supply several times. There's nothing more to say, it's a small kettle, just consider you may want slightly larger cups than those included...

I live in Canada but do travel to Europe so I need a dual voltage kettle. As it has a UK plug on it I purchased a simple plug adapter for less than $10 to allow me to use this throughout NAmerica and the Caribbean . The water heats quickly to a boil on the NAmerican voltage setting. Voltage setting is on the bottom of the kettle and easy to slide across. Very compact so will be easy and lightweight to pack. Includes two small plastic cups with handles that stack and store inside the kettle.

Great jug but make sure you have a traveller adapter plug as it comes with a chinese plug was lucky we had one,

Dieser Reisekocher ist schön klein, leider mega unstabil. Er ist schlecht verarbeitet, der 1. ging dann auch fix kaputt … Rücksendung für Ersatz NOTWENDIG … nach GB auf eigene Kosten!!! Der 2. jetzt ist so schlecht zusammengesetzt, da sprudelt einem das heiße Wasser aus sämtlichen Stellen über die Finger. Eine nochmalige Rücksendung verkneif ich mir, da das dann irgendwie viel zu teuer wird.

Took this to Europe with us and used it so much! Works great and is super Portable. Many of the Hotels I stay in do not have Coffee makers anymore and I have to have my morning coffee so this foots the bill! Great Item at a great price!

Habe diesen Wasserkocher bestellt, weil er klein und handlich ist. Wollte ihn im Büro einsetzen - in Deutschland! Dieser Kocher hat jedoch einen Stecker, der in Deutschland in keine Steckdose paßt, da er 3 Führungen hat. Da das Produkt aus England!!! kam, wollte ich ihn aufgrund der hohen Rücksendekosten, die ich auch noch selbst tragen muß, nicht zurücksenden. Also mußte ich noch zusätzlich einen Adapter kaufen. Alles in allem war der Kauf sehr ärgerlich und ich sehr unzufrieden. R.S.
