18 Rabbits Organic Gluten Free Granola Bar, Cherry, Dark Chocolate & Almond, 1.6 Ounce (Pack of 12)

I am amending my previous review of 1 star (see below). I contacted the company and they have since changed the bakery where this product is made. The new bars are really good (still not quite as good as they were) and I am told they are continuing to work with the manufacturer to maintain the quality. They were very easy to communicate with and addressed my concerns immediately. I only hope they can return to the consistent amazing chewy goodness that I enjoyed every morning before I exercised.I have to agree with another review I read (from Mike) about this product. I used to subscribe to these bars as well. I LOVE them! I've been eating them every morning before I work out for years. But in the last 4 BOXES, the bars have been hard, tasted bad and the chocolate has either fallen off or had previously melted and obviously re-dried (and they had another year left on the expiration date). I would otherwise give them 5 stars but quality control has been terrible! I'm going to wait a few more months and try one last time. If they are still as bad as they have been, I will not ever buy them again. Sorry to write this review. I have never written a review before.

These are great for me. No soy, no dairy ( unless you count the tiny bit in the chocolate pieces), no gluten. These have proved to be a life-saver many times I. The morning or mid-afternoon. I've been able to get by on one and a cup of tea in the morning until noon. Healthy and tastes good too, which is sometimes rare. The only thing is when I get them sometimes the chocolate looks a bit melted or has a bit of that old chocolate look to it, like they've been sitting on the shelf for a while...but they're not past the expiration date or anything like that. They are a little bit over priced but no more than other "health" bars, and definitely cheaper than the 2.50 each you would pay for one at the store. We love our 18 rabbits!

These bars are my favorite and the quality of these ingredients are superb. I don't know if it was something to do with Amazon owning Whole Foods, but I can never find these bars in Whole Foods anymore. I have to buy these on Amazon. Sometimes when they get the order right the bars end up being like concrete. These are usually soft and chewy. So I would buy them again, but I hope to receive better batches.

I was soo disappointed in this shipment that i received. I used to get these bars from a local whole food chain in a state that i previously lived in and fell in love with them right away. They were full of flavor, pull apart chewy and satisfying. FRESH! This box that I received was terrible. They are hard as rocks and only 2 months away from the expiration date. I am so disappointed to have been sold this product. When you bite into it, it's so hard that the chocolate chunks on top chip off and fall onto the floor. I was really looking forward to making this a part of my staple items, but this is a no for me...unacceptable!

My kids and I are fans of this breakfast bar.However over the year we noticed the quality is not so good any more. It’s suppose to be soft and chewy but instead it’s hard, tough and stale. Not all of them are like this but about 25% which is too much considering the cost. Hopefully the company figures it out sooner than later.

I really liked these bars at my local coffee shop, but the box I ordered from amazon was different. They were extremely hard, maybe stale, maybe bad temperature control in storage, I'm not sure. The box was in rough shape when I received it and the chocolate chips had fallen off the bar too, which leads me to believe something about storage in the warehouse was off. My jaw hurt after eating one from the incredible work chewing them required. The flavor was fine, but I can't eat this. I cancelled my subscription. Too bad, because the price and convenience of amazon's subscriptions were great for me.

One of my favorite snack bars - been addicted to these for awhile. I've ordered it a few times and the boxes have seemed pretty fresh and consistent. Hopefully it will continue to be offered and feed my addictions. The price can vary a bit, but just keep an eye on it and order when it's not too high.

18 Rabbits bars are my absolute favorite granola bars. They have the perfect consistency and texture (very chewy). Of the four flavors available, I don't have any particular favorites. The Cherry, Dark Chocolate and Almond ones are delightful, and I love the fact that they have real and visible chocolate chunks in them! I also love the convenience of being able to order them online and delivery is almost always a day early! Thank you 18 Rabbits!
