Lightweight, Warm, and Perfect for Travel
I recently purchased the Amazon Essentials Men's Packable Lightweight Water-Resistant Puffer Jacket, and I’m thoroughly impressed with its quality and versatility. Here’s my experience:Fit and Comfort: I bought the Big & Tall size, and it fits perfectly! The cut is flattering without feeling too snug, and there’s plenty of room for layering underneath if needed. The elastic cuffs are a nice touch, keeping the cold air out.Warmth and Weather Resistance: For such a lightweight jacket, it’s surprisingly warm. I’ve worn it in temperatures as low as [insert approximate temperature] with just a sweater underneath, and it kept me cozy. The water-resistant feature worked well during light rain, keeping me dry without compromising breathability.Portability: This is one of the best features. The jacket folds into its own compact carrying pouch, which is perfect for travel or keeping in the car for unexpected weather changes. It barely takes up any space in my bag!Style: The design is sleek and minimal, making it suitable for both casual outings and more polished looks. I chose black, and it looks even better in person than in the photos.Pros: Lightweight, warm, packable, and affordable.Cons: None so far!Overall, I highly recommend this jacket to anyone looking for an affordable, stylish, and functional outer layer. It's an excellent choice for travel or everyday wear, and I plan to purchase another in a different color!

Love it
This jacket is comfortable and light. Provides just enough warmth and protection for those mild days. Deep pockets on the inside and out. Very pleased with the quality and fit. Ordered a medium and it was spot on. Comes with a stow bag. Went out on a misty evening and the water rolled off. My new favorite jacket.

Good cheaper alternative but not for heavy use
I bought for the purpose of travel and outdoor use in those times where temps can change drastically from 70F in the morning down to 40F at night.I got this on sale for $20 which was a far cry from $60-120 asking price of other packable down jackets. For the price, it's much warmer than I thought and has well thought out features. So far I've worn this in 42F weather, coldest and just going on a walk I was breaking a bit of a sweat with it half zipped. It has 2 exterior pockets and 2 internal pockets. Personally I wouldn't put too much in these, as I can really feel the thing stretch and drag down. Just gloves, hat, phone etc. should be fine, nothing like a can of soda or something. Water resistance is what you expect for thin nylon stuff, a few drops is fine, actual rain, get an umbrella or an actual waterproof layer. It's also pretty windproof, took it out in the aftermath of a pseudo hurricane and didn't feel the wind.It packs down pretty well into a 6 inch long 3 inch or so bundle but nothing like the high tech hiking stuff, I just wish there was a shorter loop so I can carabiner it to my pack easier but seems like it was intended to be carried like an umbrella. Also wish it packed into itself rather than have a bag which may get lost one day. The material imo isn't very durable, I have no rips yet, but I'm not confident and think if I rub on something the wrong way it's going to tear. The stitching seems fine so far, and doesn't seem to be leaking filler yet.Sizing wise, I have a 45 chest and usually wear XL, but this is kinda big even for an XL, maybe because they were antiicpating you layer something like a thick sweater underneath. It is also a bit long for my torso, about 2-3 inches more than I need to sit at my waist. I have 23 sleeves and that fits perfect.I don't expect this to last a long time, but it's useful for the time I'll have it.12/28 edit:So I just used this exactly for what I bought it for because of the huge winter storm that swept across the north and east coast US. Temps went from nearly 60 degrees in daytime all the way down to 23 by late afternooon with extremely high winds that were throwing doors around and knocked some street signs off their mounts, and it was perfect. I just had a t-shirt underneath and on top of this was a gymax waterproof windproof jacket. Again my only complain might be if the material doesn't last and it's a bit long.

Cheap, effective, highly recommended
Ok first we have to remember that this is a 25 dollar jacket. That being said, I am very happy with it. Living in the Colorado mountains I bought this as an in between jacket to wear when my heavy coat is too warm, and a hoodie is too cold.It is warm enough and is perfect for the job. However today it was about 30 degrees and very windy, and this jacket cannot handle that. I would recommend only wearing it above freezing temperatures. The fit. I am 6 foot, nearly 200 lbs. waist 32, shoulders pretty broad. I run into this problem with most clothing where I have to buy Large to fit my shoulders, but the waist is way too big. This jacket is cut to fit most body types, but if you’re similar to me then you probably deal with this all the time anyway. Not a big deal, but I’m definitely glad I didn’t order a medium because Large is just enough for my shoulders.Anyway I can honestly recommend this jacket, it’s very cheap, packs nicely into the included bag, and does the job just as well as a packable north face I used to have
