We just returned from a week long sailing charter in the Virgin Islands and I can't say enough good things about this towel. While everyone else on the trip had trouble getting their towels to dry in the humid air, our Life Towels dried quickly and completely again and again, even when just draped quickly somewhere below deck. I also didn't worry about them getting a funky odor. Almost everything else I brought back from the trip (clothing, shoes, luggage) is damp except for these beauties. They're well made and perfect for traveling, particularly if you require a lot of use with little opportunity to do laundry. The additional small towel we actually used for our drying dishes and almost everything else on board. I like the tag that makes them simple to hang anywhere. They also pack very easily and have a much smaller footprint in a luggage or backpack than your average towel. I've never written an Amazon review before, but I was very impressed by this product and I'd certainly recommend Life Towel to travelers of many kinds!

 So, Im the guy that reads and reads post from other people and says ok that one sounds like the sellers wrote the review, or the competition wrote the negative review. I was asked to leave a review by the company after buying it, just like when you buy anything, and I ignored the email. However, I was shipwrecked two weeks ago and I told the seller that I really liked their towel but I lost mine in a shipwreck, and would buy another on my next trip. They emailed me back and offered to send me a free towel just because. Thats pretty cool customer service! When I contacted them I wasn't trying to get anything freee it was because I was so impressed by their towel, and wanted to give praise where praise was due. I have been overseas quite a few times now, and the thought of taking a microfiber towel with me makes me cringe. They usually stink after awhile and when you drop it, in a 3rd world place, its easy to have bits of sand or twigs get stuck in the towel.What I really liked about this towel is it was as smooth as a bed sheet, if you dropped it, a quick shake and you were good to go. Dried you off really fast, left you feeling smooth. Smooth and dry enough to put socks on right away. Thats dry! I did follow instructions and pre hand washed it 2 times, a lot of white foam came off, Im sure thats why they tell you to wash it first. When I used it, it was dry so quick Im not sure how fast it dried in. I took a shower close pined it up, and went to do something else and when i came back it was completely dry maybe and hour later. I only had the towel a few days before our shipwreck. Epic story, but wrong place for that. You can find the coast guard rescue on youtube if you search for 2016 catamaran sinking.

I love this towel! I purchased four XL towels for a 10 day camping trip with my family. I brought along a few regular towels just in case we didn't like the new ones. Nobody touched the regular towels. The Life Towel dries you off quickly and you are not left with a heavy wet towel to try and air dry. The Life Towel hang dries very quickly over the back of a chair in the sun. They dry nicely just hanging inside the camper too. Regular towels took forever to air dry. I purchased the XL size. I think we could have ordered the large. The XL was more than sufficient for drying off after a shower. We had to be careful when hanging the towels on the hooks provided in the showers. The towels are so large they would touch the floor if we used the corner hanging tag. I do wish the Life Towel was offered in more than two colors. I would have liked to have one color assigned to each family member. I did hand wash the towels in a small sink once during our trip. They washed up nicely and I air dried them. No need to use the expensive washing machines at the campgrounds. The Life Towel is going to save us a lot of room and time on future camping trips. No need to pack a supply of regular towels that take up a lot of space in a small camper, take forever to air dry and need to be clean in a laundromat.

Great! We used ours while walking on the Camino. Use it to dry what ever you want. Use it. Wring it out and hang on the outside of backpack during the day. By the time you walk 20-30 kilometers it is very dry and ready to use.

I ordered the Life Towel back in March of this year (2015) and waited until I had several months' use of it before writing a review. The towel came packaged in its own mesh bag, which is cute but not useful to me for storing, since I don't keep my linens stored in separate bags. The microfiber material felt too smooth on my skin, but it soaked up water nicely. I bought the towel for a trip abroad and didn't end up using it, so it sat in my suitcase taking up very little room and virtually no weight, which was fine. Since my trip, I've used it for everything from mopping up spills to cleaning windows, and in every chore but one it has done a splendid job: I can't say I like it for cleaning or drying my skin -- I prefer a little more roughness in the fabric, but that's completely personal. For me, the towel is a handy, multi-purpose cloth that washes nicely, dries quickly, takes up very little space, and weighs practically nothing. So I keep it around and use it for the odd jobs it does so well.

This towel is a great innovation and a great product. I bought 2 different sizes; larger one for travel and the smaller one for around town. There are so many potential uses besides basic towel functions. I will be applying this towel to other uses being aware of its antibacterial properties, beyond just travel. I live in a largely populated Asian city and bring the towel with me when walking around town. Especially when it's hot and humid, I can use this towel to wipe off the sweat and any pollution particulates in a highly populated city in Asia. As the world becomes smaller through international travel and multi nationalism, the towel is one more modern scientific and technological advance in guarding against pandemic bacteria. You can't be too cautious when it comes to well being for yourself and loved ones. These make great gifts for loved ones in the upcoming holiday season.
