Nice and sturdy

The pitcher is exactly what I wanted.

Simple perfect design.

We really liked this pitcher a lot… It's stylish, didn't seem flimsy or cheap, and was a good size for what we wanted (we used it to hold a pre-made cocktail at a party). However, it broke after our first use! It was sitting on the counter and my husband "tapped" it with the back of his hand about halfway up (where the water level is shown in the picture) while he was placing something next to it. It shattered into several large pieces. Lots of the negative reviews are from people whose pitcher was broken upon arrival… maybe the pitcher has weak/vulnerable spots as a result of the design.I will also point out that there was a small imperfection in the glass… almost like an air bubble trapped during the manufacturing process. It wasn't huge and ugly, but it was noticeable and we would have tried to exchange the pitcher if we hadn't received it the night before we needed it. Who knows, maybe the air bubble was the weak point that resulted in the pitcher breaking? At any rate, it was unsightly (though small) so I thought I'd point it out.

A little too big for a Martini pitcher. Should have ordered the smaller one. Nevertheless, still a nice one.

I love this pitcher for mixing and serving martinis to my guests. Looks good and seems to be sturdy enough for frequent use but like any glass product you can't bang it around.
