Believe it or not, there actually are people like me who look at an i-Pad as if it were some gadget sent here from the future. For those of us who have purchased an i-Pad under great pressure from family & friends, I'm grateful that books like this exist. The pictures it uses are excellent reproductions & in color. The steps one needs to take are numbered & referred to the picture of what you're looking at, making it fairly idiot-proof, even for idiots like me. The order in which the book is laid out isn't entirely intuitive, but does a better job than the other books for newbie i-Pad users. It is also updated for the air 2 version, which is essential if you have that model.

Wonderful iPad 8 and a great price.

I haven't had time to use this much but it arrived quickly and it looks brand new.I did set it up and hope to use it more soon. So far it is excellent!

If your new to iPad or iPhone then this book is for you? If your an old hand and are looking fo something to deepen your understanding of your iPad or iPhone this book is not for you.

The book is good with clear explanations. BUT the iPad itself is still cantankerous and a pain in the lower back!!!

Was OS version clearly indicated in the add? It coved version 7. Mine is 12. Book was not for me.

This reference is not as good as I expected. The book has European references and might be better for individuals living there. I have since seen a different reference I wish I had bought. The apps in it are directed toward American sites more useful for my needs.

This book was very helpful in setting up my ipad although at certain points the pictures did not match my Ipad mini 2. However overall an excellent book which I would recommend to anyone getting an Ipad for the first time.

Easy to understand and full of useful information. I have found out many things I never knew about my iPad.

Bought as a gift for 70's something relative, whom is more than made up by the book. Extremely useful! Probably buy myself a copy too
