Speedster 1 Gaming Chair - Solid Base

Great, awsome chair.

Arrived well packaged delivered by a guy who was not happy I live in a first floor flat. Pretty heavy box and very sturdy chair well packed into said heavy box. Assembly took about an hour and was fairly straight forward for an Ikea pro. It's very comfortable except I find the headrest is a little too far forward if I want to sit back and relax. I chose this primarily because it was the only gaming seat I could find that had built in speakers AND arm rests that can completely fold up rather than the movable armrests that begin half way down the thighs. My tendency to sit cross legged at my computer makes arm rests an issue.The red and black colour scheme was not to my taste but my brothers and nephews think it's cool so my cred with the young un's has risen, however a friend suggested I crochet a cover for it to make it1 match my lounge decor. No idea how to crochet and now desire to learn so red and black it will stay. Friend is not a gamer so doesn't understand the appeal of the speakers or arm rests that don't touch thighs at all.Sound quality is pretty decent using the RF transmitter with my PC, but when using bluetooth it can cut in and out quite frequently. Kids like dragging it around to the TV for PS4 gaming but I prefer the surround sound from my actual surround set up. Serious downside is that instead of using their headphones the kids like to plug their tablets into this chair instead. As I let them have 2 hours of techtime a day (movie, PS4, tablets etc combined) I find am am using my noise cancelling headphones a lot more since buying this chair.I have removed 1 star from my rating due to the headrest issue and the sound being patchy at times on bluetooth, but this chair really is great value for money and overall I'm very pleased with it.
