Amazing frame for the price!
For the price of this queen frame I wasn't expecting much honestly when I ordered it. Sure, in the pictures it looked nice but so has a lot of other things that later turn out to be a disaster with either putting it together or keeping it together. This has been a wonderful exception!Everything you need came packaged inside the headboard. On the back there are two zippers that unzip the entire back of the headboard and inside is all of the pieces needed. I really liked this feature as I moved recently and was able to break the bed down and transport it all in one single protected piece. The design is very nice, modern and sleek and durability and quality both seem to be excellent. I have used this bed for nearly a year and it's held up great. One of my main concerns were how sturdy the boards underneath the mattress would be and so far I've not hand a single one break. When looking under the bed when my 2 year old and spouse's 2 year old are jumping on it the boards have a little give and relieve pressure which is a nice added bonus. There are two groups of boards, all strapped together with velcro to adhesive to the bed frame itself which also has velcro. I have not noticed this getting worn out or losing it's strength and the boards seem to always stay in place. The frame itself was extremely easy to put together and there weren't many pieces that had to be put together. There's two panels on either of the long side of the bed, then the small foot board and head board, along with the framing that runs underneath (which is one part) that goes from either side and front to back. There was one small issue with this, one of the leg holes for the headboard seemed to be stripped out a bit so it wouldn't tighten very well and wobbles a bit, however, UPS lost my first bed in transit and so it was awhile before my originally order and when I finally received a replacement so I can live with this, plus with kids jumping on it, two adults falling on it after a long day of work and plenty of rough activities on and around this bed it's held up extremely well. This was a bargain on this and I love it! I also like the addition that there's no need for a box spring anymore. Box springs seem old and archaic and I am glad I upgraded to something more modern. Also, I have seen a few complaints about gaps with other type of bed frames like this..I experienced zero issues of this and my mattress fit perfectly inside and it does not budge, wiggle or move at all. There also a decent amount of space beneath this bed, a small dog and a 2 year old child can both climb under this with no issues, makes for additional storage is need be.Design seems great, assembly is easy and quality is fantastic, I'd recommend!

Very recycle friendly packaging.
The entire time I was unpacking and putting the bed together, I was creating a glowing review in my head, until I unwrapped the damaged spot. My heart sank because it was less than perfect.First, the packaging was (mostly) perfect and everything neatly protected from damage during travel. The outer box had a significant punch/tear inevitable from shipping such a large heavy item. But the inner box (yes, it’s double boxed) was not damaged, thus the headboard was safely spared. I had to unbox it in the garage, so I could carry the various parts upstairs one by one. I’m 55 and 5’2”, so, it was too heavy for me. The neat, tucked into the headboard arrangement was very well thought out, although I later discovered one of the side rails had shifted in transit and poked a 3/4” hole in another side rail. So now the bed is 96% perfect. I assembled the bed with the blemish away from view, and once a mattress and bedding is on it, no one is likely to notice. The bed was not difficult to assemble, having both paper and video instruction available. The bed is heavy and sturdy and I feel confident it should last. The faux leather has a nice look and feel to it, not cheap looking as the price tag would imply.Something else that impressed me was the packaging. The boxes: recyclable. The plastic bags that every individual piece was wrapped in (#4 plastic, knotted not taped): recyclable (at the grocery store’s bag recycle bin. Publix takes clean #2 and #4 bags for recycling. The 2 pieces of styrofoam also recyclable (with foam egg carton/trays)Paper instructions: recyclableThat left 5 zip ties and the 4x6 plastic card that the screws were secured with as the only landfill item going into my trash. Very impressive. If I could break it down, I’d give it a 4.8 out of 5 (for the blemish). Overall, it was a good value for the money, and I’d definitely recommend it, if you’re considering buying it.

Sturdy and Sleek
Easy set-up. Very sturdy and easy to clean, no cloth or dog hair sticks to it. The brown is super dark, but it's definitely brown, by like 10% lol (coffee color). Remember to tighten all screws, but not overtight, that's a general rule for any project. Awesome space saver design + bed legs are tucked under the bed so there's less chance for toe stubbing.

Under priced for its Value. Sturdy and Good Looking delivered Bed with 5 Year Warranty !!
For this price point including well packaged UPS/FedEx shipping and 5 year warranty, you will not find a bed of this quality with slacks. I kept this product in my wish list for many days, scouting around Sears, Ikea, Best Buy and even local furniture stores before I decided to purchase this bed. I am glad I took this decision. In Ikea, a similar bed would cost 700 CAD with slacks with delivery. In other places, I was getting similar beds but of a poorer quality. The bed itself is very well made and it is not surprising that the manufacturers have patented this design. Inside of the bed are four cross metal frames that are light, solid and very easy to fit together. The headboard and foot board slide into lock nuts from top after which they do not apply any pressure to the headboard and footboard downwards. I was initially worried about the legs breaking now under stress but after putting it together, I can see that they is no way it can happen unless you put it together in a wrong way. The corner top bolts of the headboard and footboard can only be fitted with an Alan Key (provided) as the area is not accessible through a screwdriver. Some suggestions for those who are fitting it together.a) Attach the legs to the headboard and footboard first and keep both on the side for later use.b) Fix the metal cross beams and ensure that they are touching the floor without having to push them down.c) Loosen the bolts on the headboard, footboard, and slide in the metal frame. Do not tighten the screws yet.d) Start fitting the side boards (4 pieces) by loosening the bolts as far as you can without removing them. Slide the side boards.e) Very Important - If you do not want your footboard and headboard legs to hold any stress (the load should be held by the metal frame), ensure that the headboard and footboard once slid into the bolts are free floating on the floor i.e. no push required from top to keep them stable on the floor. Now , asking someone to put a very slight pressure on the top, tighten up the bolts. Some areas for further improvement for which I would pay a little higher price for this bed :a) The slacks are not as strong and may crack over time if more than the 250-pound load applied regularly. I would recommend the manufacturer to provide an option of extra strong slacks. I can always buy these on a nearby store for around 30-40 bucks.b) The support on the sideboard where the slacks sit is made of wood and has the potential to sag. The manufacturer should consider providing metal bars instead.I am not too worried as there is a 5 year warranty and practically all components can be easily replaced. I will come back and leave an update in few months and hopefully I never have to use this warranty.

Pick it up with the 12 inch Zinus foam Mattress, won't be sorry!
The reviews for this item are very good across the board, and there’s a reason for that, it’s a well thought out, nice looking, well priced bed frame. At first it’s a bit heavy, but once you get it unpacked, setting the frame up is actually a decently quick process… I did it alone in about 45 minutes. What you end up with is a very solid bed frame which looks much sharper than it costs. The faux leather looks great and is quite soft to the touch, the Zinus Memory Foam 12 Inch Green Tea Mattress I picked up to accompany this frame fit perfectly, highly recommended as an all in one bed upgrade package. Also love the way everything packs up into the headboard for making moving just that much easier, brilliant design. I do notice a slight bit of squeaking from the inside feet rubbing against the hardwood floor when I get into the bed from time to time, but that can be fixed with some slight adjustment and/or furniture feet pads. Very solid otherwise, worth the money!

Stylish and Sturdy with Storage, but Beware of Packaging Issues
I recently purchased the Zinus Deluxe Faux Leather Upholstered Platform Bed with Wooden Slats, and overall, it has left me quite satisfied, earning a four-star rating. The bed boasts several notable advantages, although there are a couple of drawbacks that need attention.Let's start with the positives. The bed's design is elegant and spacious, adding a touch of sophistication to my bedroom. The overall construction is sturdy, providing a reliable and durable platform for a good night's sleep. The assembly process was straightforward, and I appreciated the inclusion of wooden slats, ensuring adequate mattress support without the need for a box spring. One standout feature is the ample storage space beneath the bed. The inclusion of under-bed storage is a game-changer, offering a convenient solution to declutter and organize bedroom essentials. This practical addition enhances the functionality of the bed, especially in smaller living spaces. However, there are a couple of drawbacks worth noting. The bed's height is higher than that of a standard bed frame, which may not be suitable for everyone. This can be a minor inconvenience, particularly for individuals who prefer a lower bed height or have difficulty accessing higher surfaces. The most significant concern arose during the unpacking process. Unfortunately, the packaging had been compromised, leading to an unpleasant discovery of live cockroaches and cockroach eggs. This was an unexpected and highly undesirable experience, raising serious concerns about the storage conditions in the warehouse and the effectiveness of the packaging in preventing pest infestations. In summary, the Zinus Deluxe Faux Leather Upholstered Platform Bed is a stylish and practical choice with its sturdy construction and ample storage space. While the height may not be suitable for everyone, the packaging issues were the most significant drawback, warranting caution during the unpacking process. Despite this setback, the bed itself is a quality product that, with improved packaging, could easily earn a higher rating.

Fantastic!
We bought a queen for our spare room. It was in perfect shape, great looking and so easy to put together. The design was so well thought out and it even came with a little ratchet. Very impressive! I highly recommend it!

Beautiful, well designed, and luxurious.
I'm the 40 something that's never justified spending money on a nice bed frame. I always had expensive mattresses on bog standard metal frames. Then my metal frame broke and I thought, "Heck, get a nice one. Treat yo self." I am so glad I did. Every night I touch the butter soft, squishy, GORGEOUS headboard and stand there for a few seconds before I get in just admiring the aesthetics. Assembly was a breeze (and the company even included extra hardware and a hex key "wrench" that made everything a snap). I put it together by myself in a heat wave in under an hour. No creaks, no sagging, totes gorgeous. I'm a happy camper. Would 100% repurchase. Six stars!
