Came in great condition, beware the box is pretty big. But so is the poster. Looks so good and the magnet system for the border is simple, just have a friend help you with alignments. Scratch off is very very sensitive making it easy. Coins for big country great, use a stylus or a pen cap for small countries like Austria.

I did a lot of researching when looking for the right map, and I’m pleased with my decision. I had no issues with the foil sticking, made sure to scratch it off lightly (it came off with ease), and was careful with the boundaries. It did come with a couple small scratches, most likely from being rolled up into the shipping tube, but nothing to make a fuss over.I did make the mistake of not being careful enough and made some very light smudge marks on parts that still have the foil, but again, nothing earth shattering. It’s on display in my office, not at the Smithsonian.My only point of criticism would be that others came with tools to make precise borders possible, and this one doesn’t. I ended up using a small wooden art tool I have on hand, but without that, the detail work was tough. I recommend finding a tool like that if you want clean, crisp border lines.

The media could not be loaded. Bought map for myself. Found it easy to assemble, readable and definitely very giftable. The scratching feature is entertaining and the main reason I got this map because I want to keep track of places I travel to. I also got the magnetic frame since I planned on having it hang on my living room for years, so a sturdy protective frame would be helpful. I gotta say that the only reason I don't give this map a 5 star is because it should have a four side frame to protect all sides. Instead,the two lateral sides are frameless and exposed.Overall, the map and concept of scratching off to color countries PLUS all the flags that come on the bottom row is all nice and I definitely recommend it. Make sure to use a skinny wooden stick to color small detailed areas of the map.

I got this to hang on the wall in my living room, and it never fails to start a conversation with a friend or a guest about different countries that I have been two or even about going on a trip together! Love that you can also scratch off the flags as it makes it easier to count how many countries you have been to if you’re that type of person.

I bought this for my son who travels the world, and is quite successful---which makes it extremely difficult to choose gifts for him! I saw this and thought he would enjoy this as it is so unique! He adores it!!! He hung it on a wall in his home surrounded by pics he's taken in his travels. As it comes with it's own unique frame it's simple enough to scratch off his latest journey, without disassembling a glassed in piece. It shipped very well protected as well!
