Works ok but i have seen better alternative in use on music stands

Used for my music stand

I use this music stand light for instant illumination at night .I love the fact there are two lights which can be used independently of each other . On the top of the actual light is a button which you push either once or twice depending on how bright you want it .The clamp fits neatly over my radiator , it would also be good over the edge of a desk it's sturdy and strong .The double lights look like insect antenna and can be manipulated into different positions . This takes Batteries ( not supplied ) or you can use it plugging it into a USB port .I really like all of the features of this light and recommend .

The light arrived without any instructions about where and how to fit batteries and, more importantly, how to switch the light on. Instinct enabled me to fit the 3 AAA batteries but finding the on/off switch was a challenge. Eventually I noticed a funny little oval mark in the light head and this is the switch. Once these puzzles had been negotiated I had a good, bright light. Again, no instructions about how to adjust the brightness; by chance I discovered that one push on the tiny hidden switch gave one light and a second push made it brighter. I can now use this. It is a good product but, without instructions, something of a mystery unless you have used a similar light before. Please enclose simple instructions for use.

It doesn't work.

The brightness on the high setting was just about OK, but after being on for a while they got extremely hot - you could smell the plastic melting. After that one of them failed in some way with the brightness on both settings half what it should be. All in all, these are simply not fit for purpose.

You can point one for reading and one to illuminate the bedroom door. It’s shaped like a insect with two antenna.

These pair of lights are bright and have the added feature of 3 setting. Does the job well
