I never thought I would need one of these things. It seems stupid.
However, once I got it, I seem to use it all the time now. It does a real good job removing knobs without mowing the pickguard

The tool is great. I was able to tighten the bolts on the pots and not scratch the surface of my guitar as it has a felt bottom that glides along the guitar’s surface.

Easy to use, one side for tightening, the other for loosening, soft backing really does protect the guitar finish. I don’t mind paying a little more for quality tools, and the Music Nomad tools are quite excellent, including this one.
