I am an elementary school librarian, and I do stations as an instructional strategy with my 2nd-5th grade classes. These pockets are fantastic for helping with the stations because I can make an instructions sign for each station and place each sign in a different pocket.The different colors help me facilitate assigning groups to stations because I can just tell them to go to the station that has a particular color pocket.The size of the pocket is helpful. It is big enough that I can put file folders (stapled on the sides to make a pocket) with the necessary workskeets/graphic organizers inside for easy organization.I used to use plastic photo frames for this purpose, but those were constantly breaking. I think these will hold up much longer.Now... the negatives. I'm seeing areas where the plastic is already getting creases just from being held (they are pretty flexible, so gravity tends to make them bend when held from the bottom). Okay for my uses, but it may impact how easy it is to erase. Also, the edges are coming unsewn. One I noticed had loose strings before I even used it the first time. Kids are experts at finding those loose spots and picking at them until they get worse (sometimes intentionally, sometimes without realizing what they are doing), so I can see where they may only last a year or 2.

I purchased these sleeves to use in my 1st grade class. 6 year olds are less than gentle with their supplies, but these are holding up after being shoved in desks, pulled, twisted, and having papers (and erasers and markers) shoved into them. Every brand and color of dry erase marker has shown up and has erased well. This is a miracle in itself! I wish the whiteboard on my classroom wall erased as well as these sleeves do! I am pleasantly surprised that for less than $1 per student, I was able to find something that worked this well. The only downside is that it's challenging for some of my students to get their markers into the elastic holder. They are getting better with practice, but it's a tight squeeze and takes some fine motor skills to insert the markers. I will certainly be purchasing these again for my next class.

My adult ESL students love to use these for "write and show", a game we use to review material. It allows all the students to participate in an interactive activity. One warning is that some dry erase makers don't erase completely.Also I'd like more than 4 erasers for the students in a package of 30 pockets. I use paper towels but would like to be able to give all the students an eraser.

When I received this product everyone in the office went nuts ... so of course I had to order another pack. These are durable AND you can write on them with the markers they come with. Easy to clean off the writing also (unless of course you write with permanent marker).

There is nothing I dislike about these pockets. They are just what I need. I saw a Youtube video where a mixed media artist used these to store paper scraps. Right now I am busy doing the same. I bought 30, so I will have enough to use to sort my ephemera as well. Definitely a good buy! K

I use these all of the time in my classroom to save paper, and also to group students. However, I expected 30 (3 of each color) and only received 29! My package was short one of the orange pockets.

I am using these as a way to display standards on a bulletin board. They are very sturdy and durable. They look great. I have some plastic ones that are a different brand that I bought elsewhere last year that have unraveled and I have been throwing them away. I will be replacing those with these ones. Much better quality.

These pockets are great. Very durable. There are so many ways these pockets can be used. I put magnetic strips in them and attach my dies I use to make cards on them. So many other uses for these also. Like the colors.
