15 Semiprecisous Gemstones Polished Natural Box Collection, Large 3/4 to 1 inch (Set 4)

My toddler asked Santa for rocks as one of this gifts this year, so Santa and I turned to Amazon to find some special ones. These came safely packaged with an insert naming the types of rocks inside. They are also a larger size than many of the other ones that I looked at, which was important to me. The only thing that bothers me a little is that it looks like, by color, that one of the rocks does not match what is says on the insert. For all I know it's just a variation in the shade, but mine looks very green compared to a very light yellow picture. My little one will never realize and he loves them. I also like that the box they go back into is very sturdy.

I am new to geology and have taken an interest in prospecting. I have purchased 8 sets of samples from amazon. This particular set has all of the same samples as shown in the illustration except the adventurine is white adventurine instead of green. The samples themselves are cut and polished as advertised. The set is Chinese in origin. The samples all have numbered stickers attached to allow identification on the list inside the box lid.The box is thick finished cardboard. The samples all fit snugly within the tray with a foam insert . The nicest thing about this set is that the samples are all larger than all of the other sets I ordered. This set is about twice as heavy as any of the others while having the same number of samples. .

I always like rocks that are why I wanted to reproduce something similar to what I had when I was much younger, and the best way is to start buying some kits.I found the selection very good. I received what I expected, nature is not perfect, one sample can be different than another even though it’s buying the same kind of minerals or rocks. Some specimens are beautiful, others are not, but they are representative, they are real.Samples from this kit (gemstones) are not very polished, they are more natural, it is a good selection of mineral and rocks, they have a good size (more than one inch) and the price is very good.

My 3 1/2 year old granddaughter was thrilled w/ her “special rocks”. A very nice collection for her little fingers and she promised to not throw them or put them in her mouth 🤗

Very impressed with this item, not teeny tiny stones, VERY GOOD SIZE!!!!! Awesome gift for my son for his birthday. Would definitely buy again. Nothing about it that I didn’t like.

Stones were packaged very well and each one so beautiful! The chart is colorful and easy to read. I enjoyed handling and organizing them into display box. Thank you!
