Gator FX Hard Quad-Fold Truck Bed Tonneau Cover | 8828223 | Fits 2019 - 2025 Dodge Ram 1500 w/o RamBox, Does Not Fit w/ Multi-Function (Split) Tailgate 6' 4" Bed (76.3")

I’ve had this cover for 3 years and it has performed perfectly. A month ago it had one small section ( about a 4” length) of the loop strip, on the cover, started the fray. It would no longer hold in the section. I called the factory customer service number on the owners/installation manual and spoke a young lady named Jamie. She was very helpful and concerned. She asked I send a picture of the area to their email and she’ll get back to me. I was a little skeptical but I sent the picture. She sent a email the next day and said they were sending a replacement top and a set of new hook strips for the rails. I received it a week later. I followed the enclosed top replacement instruction and had it done in 45 minutes. Since day one this top fit perfectly and now it does as well.I like the low profile of this top compared to the other brands that look like they were and after thought that just sits on the top of the bed. They don’t have that custom built in look as the Gator tops. I can’t say well enough about this company. They stood behind their 10 year warranty impeccably. I have a new truck coming in the future and I will definitely be purchasing from them again. Thank you Gator for a job well done!

Looks good easy to install and good price

The media could not be loaded. Tight fit, no leaking into the truck bed. This is on my 21 ram bighorn 5.7' bed. Amazon said it would only fit the classic. This is not a classic and it fits perfect! Sits flush with the bed height, i like the low profile it has. Locks with the truck keeping everything safe. Functions s as it should! Rolls up easy with one person. Good thickness seems like it's built to last!

Better use wedge shaped rail clamps correctly!!! I love the way this cover operates, but definitely NOT AT FIRST!! The one main ingredient to get the rails for my RAM truck to work correctly is to SEAT the wedge shaped clamps into the grove of the rails with the same wedge shape "first". This gets them at 90 degrees(flat across top of bed). They will snap into place but you have to push hard to get it to seat you can't just lay it up in the grooved area of the rail. If you don't seat that clamp properly you will as I did spend 2 and a half hours trying to figure out the problem!! This critical part of information is a part you will NOT get from reading your instructions "THEY" just left it totally out. I actually found this fact out by watching a video on "REAL TRUCKS" as they install the very same rails on a FORD Super Duty truck. That person made sure that you knew it was needed to snap the clamps into place for proper alignment. I went out to my cover and redid all my clamps also making sure I used the top groove (not bottom groove on the clamp) making sure they were seated properly and retightened my clamps. What an incredible relief as they all lined up perfectly and all sections snapped perfectly into place securely!!! Be forewarned if you have similar brackets to the ones for a 2019 RAM truck please snap in your rail clamps or your rails will never lay at 90 degrees.After doing the rail clamps correctly then my cover actually installed as easily as they make it look on their video, but NOT before that was corrected! Only gave 4 stars as they should not forget this very important installation tip ( 2 and a half hours wasted trying to figure this point out). I do believe the cover is very well made though and does look very sharp with it's low profile!

Put one of these on my 2018 Ram in 2019. Now, almost 6 years later, the plastic latch broke and the pleather top is getting stiff and brittle. One would think that would warrant a bad review; however, 6 years in Phoenix weather for this price point. I feel I more than got my money worth's out of it, "I predicted 3 years of life when I got it, it doubled that." As such, I am here to order my replacement.

Yay for USA MADE!! Tried a Chinese made one and it didn’t fit at all. This one fit great. Hoping it holds up well.

Gator us an awesome tonneau cover! This is my second Gator FX tonneau. My first is on ly 2919 Silverado Black Widow. This most recent tonneau I put on my 2024 Ram 1500 TecStar Intruder. This co er is much lighter than my first, yet is rated exactly the same. This is one of the best tonneau covers on the market as you can gain access to nearly 100% of the truck bed. The tonneau folds three times, the tilts to the rear windows, and is secured by two folding rods. Just an awesome tonneau that I highly recommend.
