A tome for the experienced
This book is daunting (ahem. understatement.) but it is gorgeous and clearly put together with love. It was a 10th vegan anniversary gift to myself, and I look forward to the challenge of the recipes. I would not, however, recommend this to a beginner. For those looking simply to expand their culinary expertise in the vegan world I suggest Angela Liddon, Chloe Coscarelli, Isa Moskowitz, Terry Hope Romero, Dana Shultz...the list goes on. All have books that have made my vegan kitchen life fun and full and exciting. They took me through my 20s and taught me and those around me how veganism could be not just the best decision for the environment, but also the healthiest decision for me personally. I don't know that I would have been fully convinced without them.But. When you are ready. Jean-Christian Jury is waiting for you. Make your dinner party guest list. Sharpen the knives. And prepare for a deep dive into the next level.

Haute cuisine for veggie lovers...cook like you mean it with this amazing cookbook. Worth every dollar!
This is a spectacular quality cookbook. It must weigh 5 pounds but the recipes are the real deal, not just a pretty book. It is haute cuisine for vegans who love to cook. I am totally in love with this cookbook...and I must have every vegan cookbook ever printed since the 70s. This is my #1 for creative vegan cooking- great recipes for entertaining and the photos are extremely helpful for plating purposes. It's coffee table size...but opens flat. Treat yourself...this ones a keeper. Clearly written and supported recipes.

Up Your Vegan Cuisine Game!
I am a Certified Vegan Lifestyle Coach and Educator and consider myself an excellent vegan cook and am always looking for new recipes and ideas for food preparation. I have enjoyed making many of the recipes from this cookbook and have not encountered a failure yet. However, I wish the book had been printed using more readable text font and/or bolder ink. This is why I gave it 4 out of 5 stars, since part of the purpose of a recipe book is to provide the ease of making great dishes - if it is a struggle to use, well, that can keep it on the bookshelf for me. Although a big book (think coffee table size), it is not user friendly on the eyes. I do appreciate the added practical touch of different colored ribbons attached to the book so that you can mark the recipes you are planning to prepare - thus you can easily flip back and forth between recipes. The Avocado-Jalapeño Poppers in the Starters section are simple in regards to ingredients but darn amazing in their taste! If you are wanting to up your game on vegan cuisine and impress your family and friends, then this book is a good addition to your culinary arsenal. P.S. Picture is of my husband's Mothers Day dinner HE prepared for ME: Avocado-Jalapeño Poppers and Eggplant Cannelloni (both recipes found in the book), along with glazed Brussels Sprouts.

Extraordinary
This book is gorgeous and the recipes are sublime. I have tried the vegan mozzarella recipe that is part of the pizza recipe on page 228, several soups, including zucchini & tomato soup and mushroom hazelnut soup, some salads including roasted potato skin & romaine salad. I have made several recipes, all of which are delicious and astonishingly simple. The book looks as if the publisher truly and really cares about its product. It is a simply gorgeous tome, large, including three ribbon bookmarks that are attached. The author does not write about himself, his lifestyle, his home, his family. For me, this is a WONDERFUL change of pace from the modern inclination to do so in cookbooks. You can literally read recipes from the first page to the last. That is, excluding the front matter and the index, there are recipes.Recipes that I will be trying soon include what appears to be a simplified way of making homemade tofu, as well as croissant, saffron ravioli with mushrooms and cashew cheese, and sweet potato daikon burger with avocado cream. You may believe that the book is expensive, but if you love books and if you love vegan cooking, this is an extraordinarily sound purchase. I can only hope that other publishers might be inspired by this work and consider producing such high quality books. A heartfelt thank you to the chef for sharing his life's work with us!

Huge!
Beautiful. It's a lot of money for a cookbook, but it's for sure worth it, if you're a cookbook addict like me.

i won’t buy a dehydrator
It’s a beautiful cookbook and I was disappointed that I had to return it but there’s several recipes in there that require a dehydrator and I am not going to buy a dehydrator

Big, solid, weighty book more with coffee table ...
Big, solid, weighty book more with coffee table in mind than kitchen. Only around 10-15% of recipies are illustrated. A lot of the recipies look interesting and there is a wide international range included, and while the ingredients lists are often longish, they are not usually too long and intimidating. Book really let down by a hopeless index organised solely on names of recipies and not by ingredients. Definitely not worth £50 to my mind.

Perfect Vegan Cookbook
Great vegan cookbook. Bought one for my son's girlfriend. She loves it. I ended up buying another for myself. It will be my number one vegan cooking reference book from now on.

Disappointed
Firstly it took over a month to arrive, secondly, it's not worth the money or hype, the index is atrocious and there is virtually no information about anything, like it already expects you to be a trained vegan chef. Quite disappointed.
