Excellent
Shoe is comfortable and fits as expected, while some models of New Balance have taken a nose dive in quality the M1260 SEEMS to continue the path of excellence, I say this having only had the shoes about 2 weeks so..... hopefully I wont have to eat my words in 30 days.Side note- I would have given 5 stars, however......these shoes are SUPER SLICK WHEN WET ON THE BOTTOM!!!!! I was not expecting the oil like traction when I walked into a restaurant after walking in the rain for about 5 seconds. If it wasn't for the rail I would have eaten floor, happen again when I walked into my kitchen (hardwood) after walking on the wet driveway.Yes all shoes are slick but these can be dangerous just to be forewarned. If you walk in any type of moisture make sure you wipe them off in any way possible before proceeding on any smooth ( even slightly) surface.

comming apart at the seams near the front
I bought these because i got an email that they were 40% off for 1 day only. Usually i trust new balance completley. They fit well and feel "okay" but i am getting a pressure point from them at the ball of my feet. Also after just 1 week of use the seam in on the inside front part of my right shoes has started to come undone, which is really dissapointing, these problably wont even last me 4 months. I love they way the look that, and i do get a lot of complements on that. For Running:I weigh 210 Lbs and am quite flat footed. so far these shoes have done a good job keeping my shin splints under controll and giving me a good comfortable running experiance. I do several miles 3 times a week on tuesday thursday and saturday. My only real gripe is that they are already comming un done

I loved. Clydesdale status
I spent forever trying to find a new running shoe. I came from a pair of Asics Gel Evolution 5 which, combined with Green Superfeet insoles, I loved. Clydesdale status: 6'5" 240lbs with pronation problems. The Asics were great and when they discontinued them, I struggled to find a suitable replacement at a decent price; I wouldn't feel right spending $150+ on a pair of running shoes. Anyway, finally, I came across the M1260v3. It wasn't the most current model, so the price was right, and the reviews on here seemed inspiring. Now having had them for a couple months, put about 50 miles on them, I can say the M1260 for me was a great choice and a good replacement for my beloved Asics.Out of the box these shoes felt light, yet really well built. These are my first New Balance and if they are all made like this then I am very impressed with NB's quality. The heel is very cushy while the arch support holds my foot upright really well and I have no knee pain which I can get if I wear non-arch supportive shoes for too long. I have to admit that compared to my Evo 5's this shoe feels "quicker", more responsive to my body and not just a huge, clunky support shoe. My toes have a lot of room to breath (I go a size up in running shoes) and the size seems appropriate. I also really like the asymmetrical counter (it's higher up on the inside), which seems to add just a little more support and overall my feet seem to "reset" or land the way they are supposed to, again explaining the no knee pain. Overall I am very happy with my selection and would definitely recommend these shoes for anyone with little to no arch in their foot, pronators and definitely big dudes like myself. This shoe can withstand a bunch of weight being smashed into it a few times a week.

eliminated pronation
Does prevent pronation, but the soles wear out faster than expected. You can use "GOOP shoe repair" to protect the soles, but I'm a little disappointed. The sizing is exactly the same with New Balance as other brands as NB has become wider over the last ten years, while Nike has become more narrow (if a 10D fits you with New Balance, then it will fit you with Saucony, Nike, and Adidas too.) The M1260 does have more foam in the heal which does prevent some slippage compared to the lower end sneakers (and this means there is less room for your toes up front). These are Made in the US.

New Balance -- Made in America for Wide Feet Everywhere!
I love my New Balance shoes. They are all I order or wear anymore. I know that I can just pick 11 1/2 and 4E for my wide foot and they will fit perfectly. I have not worn any other shoe for about 20 years. These shoes are great for running--that is all I wear them for. They fit well, and I feel good running in them. The laces are way better than the laces NB made about 5 years ago. Love these shoes.Plus, NB is the only shoe company that still makes all their shoes in America. That should give it 6 stars.Buying these on Amazon saved me about $40. If you don't know what size, go into a New Balance or sporting goods store, get measured, then open the Amazon app on your iphone and order.

Good shoe for support
I have had and do have trouble with Plantar Fasciitis. I got this shoe for it's support and so far it is performing as expected. This is not my first pair of new balance shoes, so I did not have any trouble with the size. If you have any question on what size you need it would be a good idea for you to go to an outlet store and have them measure your foot. I did this my last pair and having the right size shoe makes it perform better. For my weight and size I expect this shoe will start breaking down at about 300-400 miles so I will need to replace them then. New Balance is an American made shoe and I will continue with the brand since it works well for me. If you need good support in your shoe this is one you should try.

Great Shoe, fits great now...
This shoe is stylish and very comfortable. When I first got it I wore them all day to try to break them in, The right shoe seemed to fit well from the start but the left shoe was a bit smaller, tighter, and stiffer then the right. It wasn't until after that first day when I took them off that I inspected them and realized that there were to insoles in the left shoe and correctly only one on the right. After I removed the extra inserted insole I had no issues whatsoever. The shoes are very light and comfortable. I have a size 13 shoe and a marginally wide foot and I do not feel that they are cramping my feet at all, I am very pleased with this purchase.

Great Stability Running Shoe
After finally dragging my somewhat saggy, just turned 40, carcass back out onto the road for a few miles I decided very early on that my much loved and much used (in a fitter healthier self from a couple of years back) New Balance 1225's were well an truly past their sell-by date. I carried out some research and many of the running publications were quick to extol the virtues of the M1260v3's. With prices ranging from £80.00 to £125.00 it was back to the trusted Amazon. Money well spent, the shoes are great. The stability control (I have a tendency to over-pronation) is as good if not better than that of the 1225's and I am looking forward to clocking up the miles. I have generally by passed the dedicated follower of fashion gene but I like these shoes so much I have actually purchased another pair in the blue/yellow combo. Praise indeed from a stereotypical tight-fisted Scotsman.

new balance running shoes
Received the shoes much quicker than anticipated . Very nice looking and well made. On first wearing they appeared a little too small but having worn them for a few days they are now extremely comfortable and lightweight and I would definitely recommend them. Another unusual discovery was that unlike most shoes of this type they were made in the UK.

It is just as comfortable as prescriped by my consultant
I was prescribed these new balance shoes by my consultant to help with my foot therapy and it has helped a lot to ease the pain. So I would recomend it to those who need some kind of comfort to your feet.
A**.
They come up smaller than you'd think, but otherwise great!
Soooo comfy and the support is great... that being said I have been running in the same pair of brooks since 2008 :-( they've seen some miles. Great design, once I had the right size I now feel a lot bouncier on the road, whether that is a good thing or not is anyones guess! I think I have found the design and make of runners for me now :-)
