Crystal Noodle Soup, Hot & Sour, 1.9 Ounce (Pack of 6)

These crystal noodle bowls have no MSG and are vegetarian. Tasty and very quick and easy to prepare. Way cheaper at your local Asian market, but didn’t have time to go to the market. This does not taste like your typical American Chinese hot and sour soup. It has great flavor but if you’re expecting American Chinese hot and sour soup, you will be disappointed. In my opinion this tastes better anyhow.

REALLY like the Crystal Noodle soups because of the bean thread noodles instead of the typical wheat/rice noodles. But I find myself 'doctoring' many of the flavors to achieve my taste expections. The Hot & Sour gets the most tinkering with splash of vinegar, sesame oil, some soy sauce AND Sriracha to get the correct hot. Still find it worthwhile to get the Hot & Sour flavor when the price is right.

It tastes good, and it'll certainly warm you up on a cold night. But it's not very filling at all. And I don't like the fact that the flavoring comes in one big block that disintegrates in the hot water. For most cup noodles, I mitigate the high sodium content by only putting half of the flavor packet. You can't easily do that with this brand. And one bowl contains 52% of your daily limit of sodium!

It's sort of hot spicy, makes a decent snack. But it's expensive for what it is, and you would probably be better off buying the stuff from your local chinese take out place. And it tastes NOTHING LIKE the stuff from the restaurants. The best I could say is that it's palatable. But if you don't like spicy foods, you won't like this either. The rest of the Crystal Noodle soups are better.

A tad on the salty side but pretty good for instant freeze dried soup... I'm veg (I have an intolerance to some enzymes in meat) and pretty sensitive to MSG so this is a better option for me than most noodle cups. It's nice to have a fast, easy, non-perishable option that doesn't either taste disgusting or make me feel ill. I did figure out where to get it sort of near me for cheaper but I'll probably order from here again due to the convenience of having it delivered right to my door within a few days.

Purchased when I was unable to get the ramen noodles I really wanted. These were a disappointment...not satisfying and has the weird after taste of products made in China.

I love these Noodles, They taste amazing and are really easy to make. Shipping was fast and I will totally be buying these again and soon. My son says the noodles look like a jelly fish because they are see threw, but hell that just means I get them all to myself.

Crystal noodles were unusual. Like many Asian foods I have learned you need to crumble the noodle puck before cooking. I did not the first time. The noodles were continuous and kept slipping of my spoon. Just a helpful tidbit from me.
