KotobukiyaSuperman New 52 "DC Comics" ArtFX + Statue

I mean, how do you rate a statue? It sits there. Not moving. Inactive. It does exactly what I expected it to do. Which was nothing, so I got my money's worth and then some on that mark. If you're still reading this, then I suppose I should honestly tell you that the level of detail is excellent for the price. I've always been a fan of these types of statues, but they usually are too highly priced. This is an excellent statue at an excellent price. If I had one gripe, it would be that it came off as a little on the glossy side. But, that is a minor factor in my overall satisfaction. I will definitely be purchasing the rest of the new 52 DC line up. Oh, the little magnets in the statues feet to help it stand on its display base was a very nice feature.

This is EXACTLY what I was looking for, a serious fighting pose, Superman looking dead serious. The scale is perfect for what I am trying to do (See Pics). I love the POSE and facial expression, unlike some reviews that I have read complaining about the pose and facial expression. Tell me what kind of pose and facial expression would you have while facing your DOOM (SDAY)? Like I said, perfect for what I was going for!Thank you!!!Oh, and I love the magnetic feet, they stick really well to the top of my PC tower!!!!

The detail and paint on this piece are STELLAR! His belt is sculpted so well that it actually looks removable! Unfortunately, I can't get past the anime-Asian sculpt to Supe's face. Superman IS NOT ASIAN. He is everything AMERICAN that is NOT ASIAN. Everything about this figure blows me away- except his face sculpt. I plan on completing this collection because it is phenomenal. I also have Batman and Green Lantern, and am very impressed by the quality and price point of these collectibles. It just saddens my heart that the primary character in this collection is SO OUT OF CHARACTER. For those looking to collect all of these statues (or even some of these): I HIGHLY recommend Kotobukiya's ArtFX Superman. For Supe's fans that ONLY planned on buying this ONE piece: I think you can find something better suited to the character elsewhere.

Superman is, by far, my favorite character and I love almost every iteration of the character, be it in comics, TV, movies etc. However, I am not very simpathetic to this New 52 rendition. I can't understand the need for a armor for character dubbed the Man of Steel and why not go with a gold belt instead of red one, it would certainly balance the suit/armor better in my opinion.Nevertheless, I think this statue is wonderful, with a nice pose and excellent sculpt, as well as the paint job, which looks flawless. Not very happy with the manga/oriental look of Superman's face... Top quality statue, which isn't a suprise when it comes to Kotobukiya products. I definitely recommend buying.

Been a Justice League fan since I was a kid. Superman and Green Lantern are my faves. This is my first ever Superman figure so I was ecstatic when the box finally arrived. The detail and color on Big Blue is just superb. My only complaint, as already stated by the others, the magnets in the feet and base just don't work well. A nudge will surely tip him over. Supe's better off standing on an actual bare metal surface. Hope to get Green Lantern soon.

I was a little scared to purchase in the beginning since it's so cheap. It came and it's perfect. Highly detailed. I was scared that it'll have a little bit of distortion but it DOESN'T. A little light but it's not expensive so I wasn't expecting much with the weight. Awesome item though. Perfect of my BF's collection.

This is a Christmas gift for a Superman collector. I’m sure he will like it.

Great kotobukiya figure the only problem I had was he is a little heavy for the magnetic base

I wanted to buy a figure but some of them are just really expensive, I myself prefer figurines over action figures and so when i saw this Superman and the price combined with Amazon Prime I decided to buy this item. The Justice League box it came in had a few scratches which for someone that likes to collect the boxes like myself...this was just a tad disappointing but nonetheless, Superman looked fantastic. I like how shiny his suit is, the sculpture on his muscles, the cape looks great with an S symbol on it. The magnets worked well and the only thing I would think someone might have an issue with is his face...maybe it's just me but he looks a tad asain...either way I've gotten used to it and I don't regret this purchase and this is coming from someone that does not like Superman.I'll definitely buy more Kotobukiya products.

Una figura que está muy bien del nuevo Superman de cómic y que está bien realizada tamaño bueno y con una base que está bien podía ser mejor pero esta bien y con imán en la base para sujetar la figura que está genial

Bellissima action figure della Kotobukiya che fino ad ora non mi ha mai deluso, anzi! Veramente ben realizzata nei minimi particolari e naturalmente completa della base magnetica per l'esposizione. Veramente un ottimo acquisto!
