Been using Typhoo tea bags to make iced tea for 5 years. Very high quality tea. I use 5 tea bags to make a 1/2 gallon of tea in a Mr. Coffee machine. The finished product never varies, always the same taste . Highly recommend this tea.

I love tea. I drink it both hot and cold. I live in the southern US, where we drink iced tea by the gallon during summer. For a few years I've been drinking Tetley British Blend. I liked Twining English Breakfast Blend, but the Tetley British Blend was similar tasting, cheaper, and easier to find. After trying Typhoo, I am now a convert. Typhoo tea has lots of robust flavor. This is partly because it has more tea per bag than American tea brands. But it also has lots of flavor without being too bitter. I had tried using more tea bags to get the flavor I remembered from tea I drank when visited England, but the result was too bitter. I like hot black tea in the mornings, but I sometimes drink green tea later in the day because they each have different health benefits. When I'm really hot and thirsty, I like iced tea a bit lighter than I drink otherwise. I tried mixing an equal number of Typhoo black tea bags with my favorite green tea bags. It made a really wonderful iced tea that is perfect when I want an unsweetened lighter tea on ice. This box only cost slightly more per bag then cheap grocery store tea bags, and it is far better. Even though a convenient and affordable bag tea, it makes as good a cup of black tea as any I can remember ever drinking. I had tried PG Tips before, but Tetley British was better. Typhoo beats all 3 - Twinings English Breakfast, Tetley British Blend, or PG Tips. I don't like tea with milk, so I can't say how it tastes with it. I drink it plain or with lemon, sweetened or unsweetened, hot or iced. It tastes great all 8 ways. I can't say for sure, but it might only taste bad if served with milk, lemon, no sweet, on ice with green eggs and ham. I would not try it that way. "Not in a house, nor with a mouse".

tea is tea but this stuff is great for the price and quantity. I make unsweetened iced tea using coffee maker for 10 oz hot water and pour into a 32 ounce glass filled to rim with ice and lemon slice. refreshing.

This tea tastes fantastic!! One odd thing with it however, it leaves your mouth very dry after drinking. Just a tiny sweet added to it and my wife and I both tried pot boiled (from sink), from our charcoal filter system and bottled water and all was the same. I leaves us with a dry mouth. Very odd. Too bad. The taste was great and I love the round tea bags. I mean... who invented the string tea-bag anyway?? lame. Ha :-)

Ich finde diesen Tee sehr lecker. Ein Teebeutel reicht bei mir für ein kleines Kännchen (= zwei große Tassen) aus. Die Qualität ist wesentlich besser als die Qualität des Schwarztees vom Discounter, reicht aber nicht an die Qualität von losem Tee (z.B. Sir Winston Broken-Orange-Pekoe) heran. Weiterhin fehlt ein Faden zum Herausnehmen des Beutels. Man muss dazu also einen Löffel benutzen. Aber dafür ziehe ich aber keinen Stern ab. Der Tee ist gut. Ich kann ihn empfehlen.

Mein Lebensgefährte ist Engländer, und obwohl es ihm bei mir in Bayern sehr, sehr gut gefällt, vermisste er doch seinen gewohnten englischen Tee. Nach einer Menge Earl Grey und einem Versuch mit Twinings Breakfast Tea meinerseits hat er mich dann auf den Typhoo gebracht, seiner Aussage nach der typische englische Tee, und es ist wirklich ein geschmacklich runder Schwarztee, den wir jetzt gern und häufig trinken. Die 240-Stück-Packung kommt in einzeln abgepackten Paketen daher, so dass sich der Tee schön frisch hält. Dieser Tee ist jetzt auf meiner "Bestelle ich regelmässig"-Liste.
