A sweet treat
Delicious. It's both sweet and tangy. Like a syrup but with a little different flavor. I like to slather some butter on crepes and pour this on generously, then nuke it for about a minute. Would also be good on ice cream!

Make Prickly Pear Margaritas Just Like Downtown!
This stuff is awesome. The bottle is very fragile, and depending on how close you live to the depot and who is or isn't packing on meds that day, it'll arrive safely or you'll get a box of busted glass and red syrup. That being said, IF it arrives in one piece, keep these two things in mind:1) This stuff is potent; a little dab'll do ya, especially in a Margarita... start with about ½ oz. then if needed, add more to taste2) Be sure to REFRIGERATE AFTER OPENING or it goes bad pretty quicklyYou can use your favorite search engine to find several variations of "Prickly Pear Margarita" but I come up with one pretty close to Carrabba's using José Cuervo Margarita Mix (pre-mix or add your own tequila) and about ½ oz. of this syrup. YUM!It's also great on pancakes & waffles, or anyplace you'd ordinarily use a sweet syrup. Price has gone up considerably since I first got it a couple years ago, but as I said, a little goes a LOOOOOONG way. Go easy!

Nectar to the Goddess!!
My wife and I went to San Antonio in 2011. We had a great time. We visited the Alamo, experienced The Rodeo, shopped at the flea markets, and had fun on the Riverwalk. The only problem was that it rained nearly every day of our trip. The rain started to dampen our spirits until we found a delight at Boudro's, 421 E. Commerce St. We went there to get the famous table prepared guacamole, but discovered the hidden diamond, The Prickly Pear Margarita!Who knew that ¾ ounces of prickly pear cactus juice with ¼ ounces of tequila, added to a frozen margarita would be so blissful. I will say that after she had a few of these wonderful concoctions, this ugly and obese husband enjoyed the evenings more myself (wink wink). It was so tasty and effective that my wife keeps looking for cheap airfare to reenlist the services of the wonderful syrup.I must admit that getting a little quality time with the goddess is worth the airfare but now that I have found the awesome additive on Amazon, well let me just say that the new experiment is to see which lasts longer...the blender or the mattress.

Little things but over all worth it
Flavor is perfect! I like to mix syrups into my redbull and make a flavored energy drink. The bottle did come w a small crack on the cap. The sugar builds on the mouth of the bottle more often than with my other syrups so I guess you have to wipe frequently. The price is twice what syrups typically go for but I love the flavor so much the spurge is worth it
