This fence checker works way better than other ones I have had in the past. I have horses who test the fence for a charge. So now I decided to get in on the fun and check the fence for a charge. This tester has been a godsend. No loose horses in a very very long time!

This is so much better to check electric fences due to the digital display. You can see easily even of sunny days

We had to replace lots of horse fence with new wire this fence tester worked great with the job it was right on with the voltage. Would buy again.

I am not pleased with a number issues 1) I do not like the fact the instrument has no on or off display. The user has no way of knowing if the device even works. The Screen display come on the 6 seconds and turn blank 2) I bought it to determine if the fence charger was working. If you place on a wire connected to a charger the device remains blake. You have no way of knowing is the battery in the device is faulty. Or maybe the device is wire wrong from the factory. You have know way of knowing what is the problem 3 ) the instrument only show a display if it senses active high voltage in a functioning electric charging fence system. It is useless for diagnostics of problems 4) I would not recommend the instrument unless you are positive it is working. But why would you need a instrument to tell you what you already know 5) the sellers need to re design the device

Super easy to use with digital display showing exactly how much juice is on the wire. Beats a blade of grass any day.

This item is great because it is easy to read, use and comes in a nice storage case. Our old fence tester just had a series of lights that blinked when the fence clicked. It was hard to read especially in sunlight. This model reads the zap strength as a number and holds the number on the screen making it much easier to read.
