Lovely set of cards, features identical jokers, and a double backer. Lots of lovely details, face cards are appealing, back design is tasteful. Ace of Spades features issue date/edition.Smelled of a nice incense when arrived :)Only down side, I feel bad to even Lepaul Spread these puppies :(

The backs of the cards aren't proper gold
The cards are of very good quality. The case has a very nice rich gold embellishment. The red cards are a deeper, richer red than ordinary cards, which I quite like. It also came with a double backer, something that I enjoyed playing around with, although I'm not very good with it! It came exactly on time.The reasons I gave this product 4 stars are as follows:>The case is a bit more papery than I would like, I believe that it will wear out quite quickly.>The backs of the cards have a paler gold than the case, which I didn't see when I looked at these cards online. Maybe it was just me, or maybe it doesn't show up on the camera. Overall I really enjoyed this deck of cards.I still think that Theory 11 cards are really nice, but next time I think I'll read more reviews before buying them.

Disappointing. The faces are the 'same-old-same-old boring characterless pictograms
I use playing cards to perform classic magic effects and mentalism mysteries so the presentation of the cards is an essential element to add drama to the dramatic stories and wonderful suprises. Normally, I use Piatnik playing cards because the artwork on the faces is outstanding and the cards are of extremely high quality. I ave triied American cards in the past - which were always disappointing. It would appear that their card designers do not possess any imagination whatsoever because while the backs look exhalerating, the FACES are just BORING to look at. Sadly, the imagery of the faces is not shown so I took a punt - never again - American playing cards do not have any flair or style that is engaging to the eye and the mind - hence 3 stars because the cards are good quality even if they are dull and boring to look at.
