A great budget telephoto lens, if you are looking for a long reach telephoto lens but don’t want to pay mega bucks for the hi end lenses, then this lens is an ideal choice. I have it paired to my Nikon D3500 camera. Just select Manual Mode set the shutter speed fine tune the exposure and ISO and you are away. Use the lens without the teleconverter give you 420-800m with us a good general length and it produces nice results, adding the teleconverter gives 800-1600m but the quality does drop a bit, and you do need an extra 2 stops on the exposure. All in all a good quality, lightweight lens which is ideal for those look to start in wildlife photography. Recommend.

It is what it is - a basic manual focus lens, and it for the money it does a great job. If you want an auto focus lens with stabilisation and that will communicate fully with your camera then put your hand in your pocket, spend £500-£1000 and away you go, but for roughly £100 this lens is lightweight, compact and the optics are perfectly good.

For the money this is an impressive bit of kit. Once focussing has been mastered it's fairly straight forward. I was a bit puzzled at first as to how you adjust the aperture but from what i've learned since is that the aperture changes automatically as you adjust the zoom. I would like to see the manual (sheet) a bit more comprehensive It is fairly heavy and a tripod is essential . To improve stability i mount the camera AND the lens on an extension bar (obtainable from Amazon) and then attaching to the tripod. Considering the cost it's good value

I bought this off the back of other reviews saying how it was a manual only lens which considering the price and focal length, I thought it would be a good tool to help to learn manual photography. It did work and I did manage to take photos with it fully manual, however after using it for only a few days, the lense would no longer fully extend to give 800mm, and as it turns out, the pins the separate as extend it had come out of their housing due to a design over site. As you pull the lens to extend it, the pins pop out of their tracks unless you move it slowly and squeeze it so the pins stay in place. I thought it was too good to be true, and it's a shame as the price is good, but the quality just isn't quite there yet!

really need a tripod to get a good picture unless you have super steady hero hands but for the money it's really good.... I have had some great photos from this lens

Good value for money for a manual lense. Good for wild life close up photography. Be patient, take your time and you will get good results at a fraction of the price of an automatic Nikon lense

Excellent service, great value

Only arrived yesterday, so a quick test shot tonight. 1st picture is as it came off the camera (without teleconverter). Its Centre of gravity is slightly off with the teleconverter attached (that could be me though). It is made very clear this is a manual lens - You have to take your photos in Manual (But... that is no bad thing - Get off Automatic!!). As a hobby photographer there is no way I can justify to myself paying 10 times the price for a all singing and dancing 800mm lens. This seems to be just what I needed. I need a bit more practice with it, as focusing is fiddly. I brought this from Amazon owing to the fact I believed I would end up sending it back quite promptly, I was expecting to be under-impressed - I wont be doing that - My initial beliefs were wrong - I'm happy

Es un objetivo divertido, pero debeís tener en cuenta que NO se comunica con la cámara, eso quiere decir que no vas a tener ninguna medición y tendrás que disparar a la antigua usanza. En mi D7200 tengo medición de luz, pero tienes que jugar con el ISO para disparar a velocidades altas si no quieres o no puedes usar trípode. Si tienes una cámara de gama básica, puede que tengas problemas con ISOs altos. El cuerpo es de metal, o mejor dicho de aluminio mezclado con otros metales, pero no es de plástico. El enfoque es bastante suave y preciso. Lo dicho, es un objetivo simplemente divertido, pero no esperes ningún tipo de tecnología punta ni electrónica porque no la tiene. Yo le doy 5 estrellas porque los dos ratos que lo he usado, me he divertido bastante jugando con el ISO y disparando a objetos lejanos. Con exceso de luz pueden aparecer aberraciones cromáticas a más de 600mm, pero en general podrás sacar fotos "usables", sobre todo si tienes experiencia con el procesado.

Alors ... beaucoup a dire sur cet objectif. le livreur a -> jeté <- le colis dans mon jardin. (j'étais chez moi, la sonnette est a 50 CM du point de chute du colis) j'ai vu ça, je me suis dis : c'est foutu . je vérifie immédiatement et avant même de déballer, je constate que l'emballage est imposant. 4 Emballages plus absorbant et protecteur les un que les autres ! plus je déballe, plus ca me rassure ( d'habitude, je crie au suremballage et a l'écologie) une fois enfin le produit dans les mains, rien de me choque. mais test immédiat avec appréhension. j'y connais rien en photographie et c'est la 1er fois que j'acheté de la photo . Je sais pas comment ca marche, je sais pas si j'ai acheté un article qui va bien, s'il est correct. et en plus le colis jeté. Et bien Nickel. je trouve une notice en Français avec pleins de photo de mise en situation( une 30ene !), je déballe l'adaptateur qui se monte en un clin d'œil sur mon D3000, j'y vise l'objectif, j'allume en mode manuel comme expliqué dans la notice, le zoom marche Nikel, le focus ( manuel ^^) est assez "délicat" mais mes 1eres photo d'un pylône télécom me rassure impeccable. je précise ici qu'il y a une tas de photos de menus d'appareil photo pour expliquer les réglages a faire sur son appareil pour que ca marche nickel ! (c'est pas sur qu'on trouve ca sur des marques françaises par exemple) je recommence la manœuvre en ajoutant le doubleur de focale : ca marche nickel ! bon le focus la il est vraiment délicat ! et la il faut pas être énervé ou parkinson ... Donc du super boulot pour le fabricant. un bon objet, qui fonctionne bien. Bon Ok, peu être c'est pas le super objectif qui se fait le focus tout seul et sans absolument aucune aberration chromatique ou une grand ouverture ... certes... Mais il a résisté a un lancé franc d'un livreur que l'on presse visiblement trop ! je vais pouvoir m'initier a la photographie, et peut être monter en gamme plus tard. mais en attendant, je suis bien content de cet objectif, c'est parfait pour moi ! c'est livré avec de quoi le nettoyer et virer la poussière, petit flacon, petite brosse très pratique. et hop, dans le sac photo ^^ la 1ere photo est l'objectif monté avec son doubleur, zoom et focus allongé au max j'ai décidé de tester sur une antenne qui est a 4.83Kms de chez moi (météo parfaite) la 2eme photo est faite a la hâte sans le doubleur alors que la nuit tombait. la 3eme avec le doubleur un peu plus tard la 4eme avec le zoom a fond ( et doubleur) j'ai eu beaucoup de mal sur la dernière car la nuit est presque tombé, j'ai laissé 1 sec d'expo et je me suis raté le focus et le cadrage ! la dernière photo est un exemple de ce que l'on trouve dans la notice. attention, il y a des passage en anglais. mais globalement, on s'y retrouve. c'est du bon travail, merci Jintu ! franchement pour le prix, Bravo les gars !

È il prodotto che mi aspettavo... Un obiettivo totalmente manuale per la mia D90. Niente da dire, se vuoi imparare ad usare una reflex, devi usarla in manuale e questo obiettivo è così... Di suo ha una bella lunghezza focale da 420 a 800 mm e con il moltiplicatore 2X la raddoppia. Ovviamente, va usato con un buon treppiede e vista l'apertura f8.3, meglio usarlo in pieno giorno... Con molta pazienza.

Ich habe lange gezögert da es nun wirklich sehr preiswert ist und auch nicht so tolle Bewertungen hat. Im übrigen wenn jemand nur einen Punkt vergibt weil der Autofokus nicht funktioniert dann kann man das nicht zählen, das zieht die Bewertungen unnötig runter. Wenn ich ein manuelles objektiv kaufe dann kann ich nicht den nicht funktionierenden Autofokus bemängeln. Ich habe eine Nikon D40 und eine Nikon Z 50. an BEIDEN funktioniert sie bei der Nikon war aber der FTZ Adapter dabei, der muss angeschlossen sein. Ja das Objektiv ist lang. Aber das sind andere mit den Brennweiten auch un die sind oft noch schwerer. Klar mach das das ganze ein wenig unhandlich. Aber das ist normal und kein Mangel. Auf dem Stativ geht das super. Die Fotos sind gut, man muss eben nur manunell auch können und üben. Was ein wenig schwerer ist sind Flugzeuge, da man bei der Brennweite am Himmel echt länger suchen muss das man es im Bild hat da es sich ja auch bewegt. Und wenn ich sie richtung Himmel halte ist der Himmel oft bischen grauer. Aber das ist dann ja nachher ohne Probleme auszukorrigieren. Wichtig ist das man bereit ist manuell zu fotographieren und auch mit der Nachbearbeitung vertraut ist von RAWs. Ohne ist es auch nicht schlecht aber mit Bearbeitung holt man mehr raus, das trifft aber auf jedes Objektiv zu. Ich habe noch ein Sigma 70-300 mm und die Bilder sind ähnlich. Zur Lichtstärke: da man bei den Brennweiten ja fast immer draussen Fotographiert ist das völlig ausreichend. DIe Beispiel Bilder sind fast alle 800 mm. Mit dem Konverter muss man ein wenig mehr üben. Aber auch das geht recht gut. Die Vögel sind alle von drinnen aus nach draussen fotographiert.
