I found the portable music stand light to be well constructed, versatile and it comes with a rechargeable Li-ion battery. The flexible metal gooseneck allowed me to adjust the light in almost any position. It is very stable when clipped to the top of my music stand.The light has a total of nine different settings comprised of three color temperatures and three intensity levels. Of the nine possible settings, I found the setting of both the white and yellow LEDs together, and the middle intensity level the most pleasing for my eyes. The light pattern was very uniform as you can see in the photo. This setting also gave me 10 to 12 hours of battery life. The recharging time is about 4 to5 hours.At the brightest setting the light lasted approximately 2 to 3 hours. I found the lowest setting was not bright enough for my needs, but once I set the light to my optimal settings, I was off and running and have not needed to change the setting since.I like the feature of the four segment blue charging light on the back of the base that blinks while charging, and is solid when fully charged. The little button next to the charging light is very handy and lets you know the remaining battery life.It comes with a USB charging cable which you can connect to a USB port on your computer, or as I do, to an iPhone charging block which plugs in to any AC receptacle. Great light for the money.

This light provides illumination for many of my tasks. I’m an artist, so it helps light up my canvas and sketchbook, note book and music. It has 3 brightness level settings and 3 color temperatures you can control by holding the button in for a few seconds and then cycle through each setting. The battery has lasted me about a week of regular use on the highest setting mostly, but it’s difficult to determine the actual battery life because I use it many different ways. It also makes a great reading light if my wife is watching TV and I’m reading something I just clip it to the light stand of one of the brighter lights so it won’t put glare on the TV screen. The clip also acts as a stand, so you can use it for your light stand if you want. I’m really liking it and will keep finding new places to use it and will probably buy a couple more as gifts.

This light is being used on a music stand. It is sturdy & gives fantastic light output; a single charge lasts for weeks depending on how often I practice in the evening. My music teacher liked it so much that she ordered one for herself. Originally, the first light I was sent failed to charge properly after a couple uses; I contacted the seller & received an immediate response (Thanks, Mandy!). The seller sent a replacement & the replacement is functioning/charging properly after several months of use.

Used my light for the first time today. It arrived with some charge but got to 100% charge pretty quickly. It provides the best light I have ever had for my music stand. The ability to adjust the intensity and tone were great as the room light varied through the day. So far, so good.

This light covers the entire field of a two pages of music, with just a little less light at the edges. The feature that allows you to determine how much battery life remains (four blue lights at full charge, then 3, 2, 1 as charge goes down) means you don't have to wonder. Mine was fully charged before a three-hour gig, and still showed 4 lights at the end. I think it lasts about 10 hours all told, decreasing in intensity in the last hour. Rugged clip. Transport required a little care, but the improved legibility in a poorly lit room is well worth the trouble.

Sturdy clip, easy to adjust and the three brightness settings work well for my needs.

Despite charging this for two days to make sure that was not the problem ,and it saying it was charged, the light would not work. Yes, I understood the instructions. It did not work. I tried to contact the company as suggested in the "manual" but I did not get a response. I had to return it via Amazon. By the other reviews of this and what looks like identical products with a different company stamped on it, it is a lottery on whether you get ine that works or not. I did not expect a lot for the price. But nothing lit up my life here.Intention: music stand light.Pros: bendy neck.Cons: a little heavy for a light-weight stand.Bulky clip.Ummm...no light.

This is a great stand light, the three levels allow me to adjust as needed for the concert venue brightness. I'm super happy with it!
