Shipped from Hawaii with care. I can't believe they have Hawaiian Sun on Amazon! This jam is usually a must-grab from the ABC store to sneak into our luggage or a last-minute airport souvenir. Discovering it here is like bringing a piece of our cherished island getaway to our breakfast table every morning! As a family, we spend six weeks every year in Hawaii, and the Hawaiian Sun Guava Jam holds a special place in our hearts when we're back on the mainland. Made in Hawaii and found all over the islands, this 10 oz jar is the perfect size for your breakfast table. It tends to last us about 2 months, but our babies don't eat sandwiches yet. When they do, I'll be buying the larger guava strawberry jar for PB&Js. We love the Guava Strawberry for sandwiches, but Guava, Pineapple, and Lilikoi seem to be the ones we gravitate to most for toast. We have tried them all and enjoy cycling through flavors as part of our routine. It keeps our palates excited and helps open the kids up to new flavors. That being said, I'll share a description of each! -Guava Jam: Guava offers a unique taste—a blend of sweet and tangy with aromatic notes. It's a mix of tropical flavors reminiscent of a cross between a strawberry and a pear, with hints of citrus. -Passion Fruit Jam: A delightful mix of sweet and tart flavors, often described as a combination of tangy citrus, tropical sweetness, and a subtle floral undertone. The seeds add a slight crunch. -Pineapple Jam: Known for its sweet and tangy taste with a refreshing tropical flair. I bought a jar of this jam when on a trip to Hawaii. Unfortunately, due to an error on my part, it ended up in our carryon bag and was confiscated at the airport. I was sooo disappointed! Once back home, I decided to look for it on Amazon and BOOM! there it was! It was about 4 times the cost in Hawaii, but well worth it. Took a while to arrive, but when it did, we couldn't wait to crack open the jar. What I like best about this is it isn't as sweet as some jams, but definitely adds great flavor to fresh baked bread and toast. The texture is between jelly & jam, so not too clumpy.

It is a nice light preserve or jam. The guava comes as a nice, light, sweet flavor. It is not a strong super sweet taste. It does very well with a soft white bread. I’ll probably order more in the future as I run out.

Jar was disgusting as though it had been opened or leaked during shipping, while the seal was still there. The jam itself was extremely dark in appearance and did not taste like guava.

if you from or visited Hawai’i you will understand. the taste is awe’s, have it on toast almost everyday. the smell reminds me of home. love it

The jam is good and wife loves it. They have a jelly version which is OK and thaybone wife uses it for pancakes

This is my second review, the first about a year ago. I fell in love with guave jam years ago when in Hawaii. I cannot find it my area and every so often I send for it. My only regret is that I must have been distracted because I only ordered one jar! Here I am on my thind review. Received more jam last week. Just cannot find it in my area. Not too sweet and is great on toast, in Mystery Muffins, and on English.
