Works great
Nice fit and finish. Paired with a quarter turn valve this holds strong vacuum for many hours sealing against a home made vinyl vacuum press bag. Easy to remove and install.

Excellent fast and reliable seal on 6 mil and thicker vac bags
Finely machined, this adapter forms a quick and tight seal for vacuum bagging layups. Be sure you have a good platen with air channels rabbeted to this gadget. Most highly recommended.

Vacuum port
The color of the connectors was not black as stated. No problem with the connectors themselves. I have not gotten to use them on any hot bonds (over 200F) yet, but so far no problems.

Overall this is a high quality connector. Would recommend over other more expensive ones.

Damaged threads
The product is fine, but some threads were damaged. Taking into account that its alluminum, this is not great.

It works
All bad reviews come from people who do not know how to use it. Gasket is fine. If it leaks, there is a way to seal it. I have tried many connectors (I also made one), and this one did the best job. It is easy to place it into the vacuum bag, which is the biggest plus.
