OK watch if you get a good one
This is a bit of a strange watch. I have several atomic time watches from Citizen and Seiko, which are rock solid and rated to late 30-40 years, and give 6 mths of usage after a full sunlight charge. The Crossfire is rated variously as needing charging 2x/week or every 90 days, with the warning that if it runs down to zero charge, the battery and perhaps the watch will be destroyed (and also that too much sunlight may destroy it!). I like the looks: it is thick and substantial, but the face is on the small side, so it doesn't dominate your wrist. The picture is inaccurate in that it's a black face, not blue at all. So...they've got a ways to go to match the Citizen/Seiko atomic sync watches, but you won't find those any cheaper than $175 on a really good sale. If it's not clear in the product description, it comes with the Coolfire LED watch charger, which seems to be a legit $28 anywhere on the internet. I'm not expecting this to last the 30 years that a Citizen/Seiko might, and some of the warnings are frankly absurd, but it's still a decent value.

Promises much, delivers little
This watch promises to keep atomic time from multiple clocks worldwide AND to run on solar power. It can do neither reliably. When first activated it initially set itself to atomic time. But it somehow lost several seconds and subsequently failed more than 20 times in the next week, when properly prompted and set in a window of a top floor, to connect again to atomic time. It kept flashing that it was trying and said “W” for “wait” but never got the time. Further, it cannot maintain a charge with wrist wearing. It needs to be charged facedown on an included plug-in LED charger overnight at least once a week. Lose your charger and you’ve lost your power. VERY FRUSTRATING

Looses time
I bought one of these watches a few months ago and it started losing time. This is an atomic watch that resets itself nightly to the atom clock--it's not supposed to loose time. Also, is no stem on the watch so it has to be reset via a long series of manipulations. The first one lost about 5 minutes every 3-4 weeks. I contacted the company and they sent me a replacement, which I received a week or two ago--it has already lost 3 minutes. I have to assume this is a faulty product and I am returning the watch and buying something else. Customer service is fine but two atomic watches that lose time is not tolerable.

Junk! Waste of money!
Waste of money! Watch stopped working at 3 months. Time will not set despite trying different time zones. Time gets wonky. Watch hands just keep spinning around. Watch worked great for two months then nothing. I have had other atomic watches before. I know how to set the time.

quality feel and good features
I have been looking for another Radio controlled watch after my last el cheapo radio watch gave up with trying to change the battery for the third time. Solar seemed a good idea. did some investigation and this seemed a good compromise between too cheap and expensive; would I wear it daily? .. (as in too expensive to worry about the odd mark/scratch)The face is Black as others here have said.... not blue..Some mentioned trouble getting a signal. I can't say for them but here in Birmingham UK.. I took it out of the box, woke it from sleep mode as per instructions and it started turning the hands and stopped dead on current time. about 3 minutes to get to 3:35pm from 12:00 setting, as it was delivered. I suggest you don't start to set it to proper time when the real time is 11:55 or it will take a long time to go nearly twelves hours forwards. It was mostly close to full charge out of the box.. I left it on the base light for three hours... looked and it was 100%... might have only needed 1 hour but i'll never know :)The manual: Oh dear.. where is the magnifying glass? it has the information you need and is not chinese/english.. but not eye friendly.. can't seem to find an online version ..yet.Looks are subjective but in my opinion it is not cheap looking and it does not feel cheap. strap is very comfortable and you could change it yourself without specialist tools!
