Stanley Jr. JK029-SY Children's Tool

We have done five of these. The plane so far has been the most fun, especially for the price. The kids love the pullback mechanism, and it lent itself to a creative paint job. The Stanley stickers pictured in the example on the box are much smaller than the ones that come with the plane, so our Stanley stickers did not fit. That said, my son didn’t mind. This is easier for kids to help put together than some of the other kits. For one thing, there are only two sizes of screws, and the difference is not subtle, so it is easy to tell which you are dealing with. There are no plastic parts except for the wheels and pullback mechanism.

He's done three so far - the race car, the plane and the cement mixer. It's a fun project that we do together - he can't do it all, but can help out with most of it and do some it. He particularly likes to design the paint job for them.

This was a great rainy weekend project with my boys (5 and 3). They had fun painting the parts and helping assemble the plane with my tools (and my help of course). The pull-back wheels are an excellent feature that really make the toy come alive when the boys are playing with it. I wish more of the Stanley Jr. options had the pull back feature.

My 5 year old grandson loved this DIY Pull Back Airplane Toy. He has his very own toolkit and used it to put this together, mostly on his own! It is excellent quality and I will purchase other items in this series.

My son loved building this with his dad. Very easy to put together and even the paint is included.

It’s a great pull back plane toy, if your child is into planes. My son loved and enjoyed the painting & putting it together with his dad. Definitely recommend it!

Broke during assembly on Christmas morning. Very dissapointed. Higly recomend their cement mixer as more sturdy.
