Great product!
This is working great for us. Seems well made and durable. Even in extremely hot weather did not notice any odor outside of container. Easy to open and to empty and change out the bags.

Game changer!
This is a game changer. We use to use a diaper genie to throw out our individual bags of poop for our 85 pound dog. It worked but isn’t designed for outside even though it was in a covered space. It reduced the odor but not completely. This one is amazing. We still use individual bags for clean up but when you lift the lid it is odor free and the unit is really durable. We use the black bags that they sell to line the unit even though they claim you don’t need them. It seems easier to throw out the waste rather than dumping it. We keep the black bags in the top compartment. It’s a little pricey but truly worth the money.

Works well
Overall, I think this works really well. They need a fly repellent odor. I keep this outside and it is hot out there! Expect to have flies and maggots in and around the bin. What I do is I empty this once a week on trash day. But when I go out to get it, I bring hot water and white vinegar and pour it around and in the bin. This kills the bugs and I’m able to deal with it. Otherwise, good idea and design. Keeps the poop out of your bin and getting that all stinky and smelly.

You won’t regret the expense!
I’m an engineer yet still wonder what kind of benevolent sorcery is contained in the production of this bin. I was so satisfied that I bought a second, and they’re both worth every penny. They just happen to match the color on the stucco of my house, but that isn’t the selling point. They work better at trapping smells than (gulp) my beloved SimpleHuman garbage cans inside my home. The brand specific bags are nice, but not a must have. We buy a year’s worth of individual pickup bags at a time, and use plain plastic grocery bags to line the bin. Yeah, you get an unpleasant whiff when you take the liners out once a week and put them with your household garbage at the curb, but it certainly isn’t overwhelming. My morning breath is probably more likely to knock you over from the vile smell. I get it. The price is high. Feels like a luxury, not a necessity. But unless your dogs roam around 10+ wooded acres and do their business deep past your tree line, this magical can will make your life better. Imagine not having to coax, beg, or threaten anybody who’s turn it is for garbage duty. Or worrying if your neighbor that saw you outside and stopped to chat might be thinking the gawdawful stench is you, or your garage, or your house. It’s a one-time investment that I’m nearly certain you’ll be glad you made.

Great addition to porches/patios, super cute and sturdy. Main Con: Price.
The price is a bit hefty, and that's the biggest con about the waste system. No assembly required and super easy to set up. Very sturdy. I have one small dog and the size is great for him but also fits compactly in my small outdoor space. The inside of the can is metal mesh, yes– BUT you can add your own additional liner if you want. I saw some people disliked the fact that is was a wire-like basket inside, but I mean it's your call however you bag waste. Liner up to you. The bags included smell nice and conveniently appear in top compartment. The color of the can is super cute and neutral (love the little paw print holes on the side which help with ventilation), so I'd imagine it would blend in well in many settings. It just so happened that the aqua-green/blue accent of the handle matched my balcony decor (see photo), so that was a lovely plus. The main waste compartment doesn't stay open once you lift the lid, so keep that in mind. I personally like this feature because yes I want to be sure waste is enclosed. If you have trouble or are limited physically, this may not be the can for you because you have to manually hold the lid open. Just trying to think out loud here for everyone. It felt like somewhat of a magnetic force closure, but very sturdy and good for outdoors.

Only buy if you plan to place outside, far from your home, all of the time.
Normally I am not one to leave a negative review as I am a firm believer that you get what you pay for. Unfortunately I felt the need to share my dissatisfaction with this purchase. For the hefty price tag I had expected so much more. My primary reason for purchasing was because we wanted something to contain the odor from our dog’s waste. We live in the Midwest and as our weather fluctuates, it’s not ideal to place this outside as a full time receptacle so we keep it in our garage. This was a mistake. While the instructions do clearly state to place it in a highly ventilated area, I had to believe that this extremely expensive garbage can had to do more than simply hold waste and that the filter would help eliminate some odor, right? Nope. Not at all. It is simply a garbage can that holds waste bags and clips to close. The “filter” attaches to the top of the interior lid via a weak magnet so each time you close the lid which is weighted down with the waste bag holder, the magnet gives way and the filter falls into your waste. Nice. I suppose if you did place this receptacle outside all the time, the odor would not bother you, well because it’s outside. So I ask myself what’s the difference between buying this and a rubbermade garbage can with a locking lid? About $140. This is just simply not worth the money in any manner. $20? I’d say yes, but anything over that is far too expensive.

This doggy poop bin was a great buy. It may be a little expensive but if you want a garden bin that doesn't smell after a while, then this does the job.

I’ve just moved to a new development with no dog waste bins yet, this is perfect! I’ve got it behind my shed and I can do quick garden clean ups or deposit waste from walkies then Empty it on bin day. Very very happy with this. It looks nice is easy to empty and disinfect and the roll of bags is so handy!!

Waited two weeks for this and just unpacked it to find that one of the hinges is falsity as doesn’t have a little bolt going through to hold it together. Annoying and feeling frustrated given the cost.
