I bought this item from the same seller on amazon.ca.At first I just thought these were a pair of very unique looking shoes, I did not expect them to be so comfortable as well! I had a great experience shopping from this company, as the seller is very friendly and quick to respond, and the products are very high in quality.The shipping took as long as promised and the seller replied within 24 hours whenever I contacted them with questions. The pair arrived in excellent condition and perfect packaging.The shoes are true to size and very comfortable. They do feel a little cardboard-like when you wear them. They are definitely not soft, but that also serves the purpose of keeping the pair in the shape they are. The details on these boots are amazing. They are nicely put together and feel comfortable. I have thick ankles and they felt pretty good around my legs so I would say they may be a little loose around yours if you have small/thin ankles.One thing to remember is that the upper-front /toe-cap is longer that it seems in the advertised pictures, meaning the front part of the boots are really long. Also, since the material is steady and covered with lace, they are not very soft around your ankles. This is another reason why the wider opening works better with these shoes. They are definitely long and a little tighter around the mid-foot. Even with the unique material and construction, these shoes are amazingly comfortable.The material used are durable enough, as I have used the boots for almost a year on multiple occasions and they still look new. Although the lace is starting to show it a little on the edges, almost like it's being rubbed off. But I guess that is the cost of having lace on your feet! Again, the details are amazing and the shoes are well-made.Altogether, I think this pair was a great buy. I have tried to be very careful with my review, and I will be happy to answer any further questions about my own experience with this product. You can use it to complete your Victorian costume, wear it out to compliment your elegant summer/spring outdoor party dress, or to a formal gathering like a wedding! But rest assured, the odds are slim that you'll spot a thunder stealer!

I LOVE these shoes. I am a size 7, ordered size 7, and they fit me perfectly. There's enough room for my toes, so the pointed toe is not a problem (as I was expecting). The 2.75 inch heels are just enough to be cute AND comfortable. The top of the shoes that goes over the ankle is pretty stiff and digs into my legs, so I'll be wearing leg warmers around the house to stretch them out before my wedding, but you have to break in every new pair of shoes. The laces that came with the shoes are a stretchy nylon-type material, and the aglets make re-lacing pretty easy. I ordered the shoes in ivory, which is a lovely, delicate cream color that is still "white", not yellowish. However, the laces are slightly more yellow in color, which led to my decision to use satin ribbon in a matching cream color to lace them up. I'll still probably use these laces on other shoes because they're so darn cute. I did notice during re-lacing (to find a pattern I liked best), that the lace that's laid on the shoes started to fray and come apart around the lacing holes. So be very careful. Or use" fray-check" on the holes before playing around with lacing designs. Also, the bottom of the shoes does not provide grip or traction. You may want to put double sided tape or something to make them less slippery. Overall, I am so happy with these shoes! I'll add a picture, though not sure how well you can see the difference in lace color.

With 88 more days till my wedding, I've been struggling trying to find a closed toe shoe with a heel I can comfortably wear all day and even dance in. My girlfriend suggested a wedding booty and with a quick search, Amazon was to the rescue.The GoodHeel height and support: The heel height and width and shoe size is perfect. The shoe is pretty true to size - no issues with narrowness either. The fit makes me feel like I can be secure on the dance floor and even having to walk on ice since I’m having a January wedding in MN.The toe shape has a good balance of pointedness without cramming the little toes altogether. I plan on adding a few small crystals to give me a little bit of bling for when my toe peaks out.The lace will go well under my antique white floor-length gown. I think I’ll even be able to wear these after the fact with the right outfit. I may consider doing a self dye for the shoe’s afterlife.The shoelaces are well constructed. The laces have some stretch in them and I feel comfortable pulling them tight without fear of them breaking or tearing. For this reason despite the color match issue noted below, I will not change out the laces.The NOT so good:Fabric discoloration: My right shoe arrived discolored on a seam on top of shoe (see pics). I think from glue, but nevertheless, makes a return necessary. I have another pair on order right now and will update the review, if warranted.Shoestrings don’t match: As others have mentioned, the lace shoestrings don’t exactly match. My strings appear to be lighter than the shoe. However, given my dress is long, this shouldn’t be seen.

I bought these for my wedding and managed to make it through an hour of photography, an hour-long ceremony on a boat dock, and three hours of dancing in an absolutely massive hoop-skirted dress without any foot pain. Definitely exceeded my expectations!!

I wore these for my entire wedding and they were so beautiful and comfortable; I was able to dance all night without issue and they made for some amazing photos as well.

I really like these boots! And they are a good contender for my wedding shoes. There could be more padding at the toe of the shoes. The lace shoe strings are very elastic so I may change those out. Also the tongue of the shoe does not like to stay in place so I'll have to pin them while I wear them.

Purchased these as my wedding shoes. So happy with them and the detail. The reviews are accurate with regards sizing. I was afraid of this but a size 5 gave me plenty of room ( my size is usually 5.5 UK and I would generally buy boots in size 6)

Endlich habe ich meine Brautschuhe gefunden! Ich habe wirklich nahezu jeden Laden in drei unterschiedlichen Städten von klein bis groß durchforstet, dazu das ganze Internet (ok vlt nicht ganz das ganze- aber viel davon!) und jetzt, kanpp 2 Wochen vor dem Abstecktermin stehen meine Brautschuhe fest!Meine Eckdaten:Hochzeit im Oktobermags gerne außergewöhnlichkann nach einem Beinbruch nicht mehr so gut auf hohen Schuhen laufenhabe normalerweise Größe 38 (bei Rainbow Club Größe 38,5)und - bisher zwar nie so aufgefallen - aber vermutlich einen etwas breiteren Fuß.Und mir passen diese Schuhe ganz wunderbar!Sie sind sehr bequem, man merkt den 7cm Absatz überhaupt nicht. Die Spitze von Außen ist gut gemacht, die Verarbeitung wirkt nicht billig. Und sie machen einen wirklich schönen Fuß (hätte ich nicht erwartet).Einziges - für mich verschmerzbares - Manko dieser Schuhe:Von Innen sind sie leider aber wirklich billig gemacht (und man riecht das auch). Synhetik eben, steht ja auch in der Beschreibung (finde ich schade bei dem Preis (85€), aber typisch Hochzeitssachen - man zahlt für den Look, nicht für die Qualität). Dies führt leider dazu, dass man darin schwitzt. Mit Lederienlagen geht das aber und ich werde wahrscheinlich noch ein Baumwollsöckchen dazu anziehen. Da die Schuhe nicht zu eng sitzen, ist dafür auch noch genug Platz.Eine weitere Sache, die aber nicht ins Gewicht fällt:Die Spitzen-Schnürsenkel sind in einem anderen Weißton. Die Schuhe sind ivory, die Schnürsenkel eher creme (bis gelb). Man kann sie aber natürlich kurzerhand gegen Schnürsenkel seiner Wahl austauschen. Ich werde ivoryfarbene Satinbänder nehmen, dann passen die Schuhe auch besser zu meinem Kleid (ebenfalls ivory, Satin, keine Spitze).

Zuverlässig geliefert, konnte sehr gut laufen und dicke Socken haben reingepasst 👍🏻Nur starker chemischer Geruch.
