Bright colors, not great for traveling
I absolutely love these watercolors. The colors are very vibrant. The only complaint I have is that some of the magnets don't stick well. (The glue doesn't stick to the pan. The magnets are pretty strong)When I first opened my set, I immediately opened each individually wrapped paint, set them each in a pan, added a magnet, and set it inside the tin case. Then i made a chart that showed what each color looked like. I made the chart reflect which colors went where in the tin. I even made an Excel spreadsheet for that same purpose.I placed my chart on the inside lid of the tin, stuck a piece of laminate over it, sat back and admired my work... And it slid off my desk. Most of the pans fell out, (some with the magnets still attached) the paint wafers fell out of the pans, and everything was scattered all over my floor. I had to put them all back in a random order, making my charts completely useless now. 😞TL;DR: it may not be a bad idea to hot glue the magnets to the pans, and maybe add a small dab inside the pans before you insert the paint wafers. But the paints are amazing.

Very nice beginner friendly
The watercolors honestly surprised me! They are pigmented very well. And wet very well too

Very work intensive
Just received and spent over 1+ hrs setting it up. Each pot is double wrapped and covering has to be peeled off. Had to write the color on each little pot in case I need a refill. (Keep the outer labels with name and numbers for future reference.) A chart showing best pot orientation/placement and a color layout chart with names would be very useful. Magnets do not adhere to the pots and keep coming off. I haven’t tried the paints yet, but it’s really the case/setup that is the issue here.

Box too small to hold all the colors
I was very disappointed in this set. The colors received don't look like the photograph. There were two of one of the yellows. And, even though the description says 45 colors, there are 48 in the set, so the box sent was too small to hold all of them.

Perfect size.
I bought these to use as replacements for my Winsor Sketchers Box paint set. So glad I found these and the price is great for the number of colors you get. Would recommend them to anyone looking for refills for their paint sets.Update: Love these paints. The colors are beautiful, I would recommend these to anybody looking for watercolor paints at a good price. Would order these again.

Crappy product, find something else!
If I could rate with no stars, I would! These are so cheap! The magnets don't stick to the plastic pieces so they slide all around the container. The paints aren't secured in their pots so if you organize them by use/color, etc they will become quickly unorganized after the first jostle. The paint itself is very chalky when it dries, think chalky sandpaper. I would not recommend these, especially not for younger kids or for taking with you on nature study hikes.

Great paint set and convenient
I wasn't expecting much but they are great paints. I ordered them for the convenience but using them all the time. The magnetics dont stick well but that is because they are a little too large for the bottom and a side ridge doesn't allow them to make good contact. As I unwrapped them I had a small marker and wrote the name on the side of the container so I would know the color. They do all fit into the container, just turn them all the same direction, mine is wider side to the front and there is actually a little room left over. I pull out the pits I'm using for a specific picture and it makes my desk so much neater. Also lay a paper towel or something across the top of the paints when you close the lid so they don't come out if the pots. The tin is just deep enough the paints can flip in the tin when you carry it. Overall, I'm extremely happy with the product!

Good for the price
Pretty good paints for beginners. The pallete is particularly nice for traveling since it is so compact. Beware that they are a bit chalky when they dry. Almost comparable to how some artist loft paints are. The difference is the pans on these are rather large.
